Hello all, here are some samples from the completed set of yokai-themed Hiragana flashcards. I was inspired by my daughter's Japanese studies and my interest in Japan's monsters, ghouls, and spirits. You can also see the entire set here: youtu.be/1Fyk2M3C6pg

Some of my favorite additions to the yokai-themed Hiragana flashcards came about this weekend. ゆ(Yu) is for the ghost Yūrei. え(E) is for the ruler of hell Enma Daiō. せ(Se) is for the great dragon Seiryū. て(Te) is for Tengu.

This week I added five new flashcards to my yokai-themed Hiragana deck. Included are spirits of the dead known as Hitodama. Shape-shifting foxes called Kitsune. The vampires seductresses Nikusui. Kings of the trash heap Chirizuka kaiō. And Guardian lion Shisa. #ayokaiaday
