📣 A slightly delayed AGM this year, but all for a good reason: we have a great talk by Alex Miller, on the outstanding work carried out on Elizabeth Tower.
🗓Wednesday 9th February –Save the date!
ALT Alexandra Miller will talk through each stage of the remarkable journey, from removing historic paint layers and discovering the historic decorative schemes to the final flourishes of redecorating and gilding the iconic clock faces of Elizabeth Tower and its famous cast iron roof. ⏰Join us at 18:30 for the AGM and to have your day about what events and support you want from GDSG this coming year, or to join the committee and play and active role yourself!
We are enjoying it bringing to you a fine selection of quality talks on those mysterious materials you can find in your collections and through your conservation practice.
We hope you are enjoying it, too 🤓
