Thank you for removing the mask, Joel. Even if it may have been inadvertent.
You have, of course, simply confirmed what I said in the first place.
You are not an American Patriot.
You are a Christian Globalist.
Sey is a member of your tribe, and I am not. America is not your homeland, it's just where you keep your stuff. You do not feel loyalty to Americans, any more than you would feel loyalty to the guy who rents the storage unit adjacent to yours.
The same goes for Western Civilization as a whole. The ethos of illegals who defy American custom and law, who disrespect the American people, by sneaking into our homeland to profit from us, makes complete sense to you. Because it is your ethos as well.
You live in America not because America is special to you, or because you feel you owe it, and us, anything at all. You simply live America because it is comfortable and profitable to do so.
Unfortunately, this is not currently considered sufficient legal grounds to deport you to wherever the homeland of Christian Globalists is, Ghana or Bethlehem or the afterlife, whatever. Up to you.
So we can't rid ourselves of you just yet. But what puzzles me is why you think that membership in the Christian Globalist Tribe somehow gives you the legal and moral right to hand out tickets to America.
The bible does not come with a green card stapled to it.
America, and the right to hand out tickets to it, belongs to Americans. And, by your own admission, you are not one. That's what you said.
Now, I'm sure that saying you are a citizen of the kingdom of god has a nice ring to it, and your Christian Globalist friends may all have clapped when you said it.
But, unlike America, the kingdom of god is an idea. You haven't built it yet. You can't point to it on a map. And, while I'm sure you can think of lots of fine poetic-sounding metaphorical retorts about the kingdom of god living in the hearts of Christians everywhere, or something, you cannot actually go and live in that metaphor, because it's not a place, and it's not zoned for residential.
We have to keep the physical place we live nice, and we are doing that the way humans have always done that — by physically controlling our borders and who gets to cross them.
But you are not interested in these kinds of adult responsibilities. You are not interested in stewardship of the temporal earth, or the people on it. You have rejected this in favor of a lifestyle where your only responsibility is to love Jesus with the maximum possible intensity, and to miss no opportunity to tell everyone just how much you love him.
Frankly, if I were Jesus, which I am very much fucking not, I would find this slightly creepy, and quietly ask you to maybe tone it down just a bit.
But my concern is not the nature of your relationship with Jesus. I wouldn't even know about that relationship if you didn't insist on praying loudly on street corners.
My concern is the future of America, the future of Western Civilization, and the future of humanity, all of which are intertwined, and all of which will suffer if you are allowed to sneak open borders in the back door, concealed in a hollowed-out bible.
I do have a tribe. I am tribal.
It’s a tribe Jesus described. And to avoid putting words in his mouth, here’s Jesus in his own words, as well as those of the Apostle Paul:
“And stretching out His hand toward His disciples, He said, “Behold My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother.””
Matthew 12:49-50
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.”
John 10:27-28
“And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.”
Gal 3:29
“So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.”
Galatians 6:10
Yes, I am tribal. I just don’t classify my tribe by melanin count. Samuel Sey is in my tribe, and he is my brother. And he would make an excellent American.
Full credit to people who put in good work going after evil people.
But risk management, or the complete lack thereof, has gotten a lot of good people killed over the years because they associated with people who were reckless or status/attention seeking.

This is part of why skill, physicality, or experience aren't my top criteria for picking my crew. My top three are actually as follows.
Discretion
Cool under pressure
Deliberate
Don't let people who are big talkers or guys who rush into things into your crew.

God told the Hebrews to genocide the Amalekites, to refrain from interracial marriages, and to subdue the land of Canaan for them and their descendants, among many other things that would be anathema to modern sensibilities.
Instead of intellectually reckoning with these facts, modern day evangelicals do a fun little rewrite of the Old Testament nation of Israel into some post-racial, post-modern, 4,000 years ahead of the curve on morality society.
They are some of the most historically illiterate people you will ever engage with, they don’t worship the God of the Bible, they worship the post war consensus and egalitarianism.
White nationalism is sin.
Millenniums ago, the Old Testament nation of Israel was not based on skin color, but allowed foreigners and those of other races to become part of their covenant community, and many did, including in the line of Jesus.
In America we fought with blood to recognize all people are made in God’s image and endowed with certain rights inseparable from that image.
This is antichristian and unamerican, are so is anyone who platforms or praises this wicked ideology.

Gun safety 101, never point a gun at someone. Loaded or not, even a break action. There is no excuse.

It is not very hard for the discerning to understand why Christianity has been in decline.
In almost every single case where Christians are failing, it is because they have made their "Christianity" subservient to their real civic religion of post-war liberalism.
I'll never share who likes my posts, but just putting this out there as a PSA.
1. If likes go public a lot of y'all need to immediately nuke your likes, if not for your sake, for your family's.
2. You may find my political beliefs icky, over the top, etc. That's okay.

Those who've followed me for a while probably already know I've got a bit of an independent streak and trust politicians only as far as I can throw their head from their body. But violence is a team sport, so being organized and getting PID on the enemy matters. A lot.

There's a YouTuber that once said something to the effect of: in the future, all men will be in prison for crimes they didn't commit and all women will be in hospitals for conditions they don't have.
Funnily enough, if you look at the medieval manuscripts surrounding tournaments, you find the same thing. Tournaments used to be teams of knights going ham on each other over a large area of countryside in the 12th century. They were called "wasteful of both men and horses."

Don't make a stink about it, just cross them off your list. Why would you want someone that stupid or easily persuaded to disarm themselves around you? There's a reason I try to refrain from saying "Tribe and train" and instead talk about building a crew.
