the concept of Jensen Huang's wife learning from this that her husband is having an affair with a spy 😭
The story keeps getting crazier. To recap everything that has been reported so far:
- The US intelligence community discovered that Jensen Huang, the CEO of the largest company in the world, was sleeping with Alice Huang, a Chinese spy and an executive at Megaspeed. (FT)
- Multiple independent investigations have concluded that Megaspeed is likely a Chinese cutout, which helps Chinese companies access AI chips or circumvent export controls. (NYT and Bloomberg)
- The US intelligence community also concluded that Alice Huang’s goal was to convince Jensen to lobby the U.S. government to loosen export controls on advanced AI chips. (NYT)
- The intelligence community relayed this information to “a small group of top US government officials” earlier this year. (FT)
- Over the last year, Jensen Huang has repeatedly lobbied the U.S. government to loosen export controls on advanced chips. @BISgov has done so, not only by permitting the export of H200 chips to China, but also not enforcing export controls that would have required a license for exports of the most advanced Blackwell chips to Megaspeed and Southeast Asia.
- Although @CommerceGov leadership was presumably briefed on this information by the U.S. intelligence community, @BISgov has taken no actions to tighten controls on Megaspeed or Southeast Asia.
- Megaspeed remains a preferred cloud partner of Nvidia, and continues to receive Nvidia Blackwell chips despite employing a Chinese spy who reportedly is romantically engaged with the CEO of Nvidia.
- Tens of billions of dollars worth of AI chips have been exported to Southeast Asia this year alone, and Malaysia and Singapore are now two of the four largest importers of AI chips in the world.
What is going on here??? We need answers. The question of who gets the most advanced AI chips in the world is literally the defining strategic question of our time. And not only does it seem like the MSS may be directly influencing the debate on export controls in the United States, but also @CommerceGov is refusing to listen to the warnings of the IC on this issue. What is a POSSIBLE good explanation for why Megaspeed is still receiving chips? Why is there not a license requirement for AI chip shipments to all of Southeast Asia? This is beyond strange at this point.
The fallout from this story will be massive. Obviously, the motivations underpinning Nvidia’s policy views opposing export controls must now all be questioned. But also, how did @BISgov sit on this information and has still taken no actions? We need answers.

🚨A bit of professional news. On election night I had the only Congressional seat in America to flip D to R in an original, unchanged House District. Maine's 2nd Congressional District now represented by Republican Paul LePage. This is now the only Republican seat in all of New England, U.S. House or Senate. A great team effort from the candidate, to my media partners, to the national committee, the state Party and especially our extremely hard working and very small campaign team. I have been receiving calls and message from national leaders and elected officials asking - how? Some of those answers are in the people above. I also employed a unique campaign plan and strategy. This is how I have won so many upsets over the years against incredible odds. In this case I had a team and a candidate who allowed me to do so. Cookie cutter doesn't cut it in a tsunami or tough environment. See less
Praying for Jack.

My family and I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support we’ve received over the past few days. It means more to us than words can express.
I’m incredibly encouraged by the progress I’ve made in such a short period of time. I have full movement in my lower body, and I’m continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body. I know there’s still work ahead, but I remain very optimistic. I’m taking things one day at a time, staying positive, and focusing on getting better.
My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we’ll get through this.
I especially want to thank the athletic trainers and medical personnel who responded and cared for me on the field. I know those were difficult moments, and I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and care you showed me. The way you handled everything and looked after me when I needed it most is something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I also can’t say enough about the incredible care I’ve received from the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Lions medical staff. They’ve been amazing to me and my family throughout this process, and I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.
To my teammates, coaches, and everyone in the Lions organization, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. This team is a family to me, and the way everyone has been there for me means everything. I’m proud to be a Detroit Lion and couldn’t ask to be surrounded by a better group of people.
One thing I’ve learned about Detroit is that this city is built on toughness, resilience, and grit. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach this challenge.
Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We feel the love, and I can’t thank everyone enough.
God is good. My faith is strong.

What a cynical coward Rob Sand is. He spent the entire campaign saying he didn't want to raise taxes and ducking answering how he'd vote, and sure enough, on Election Day, he admits, yep, he wants to raise your taxes, just like all the other liberals.
Go buy NO, while you can kids. They're giving away dollars for sub 40 cents. Zach Lahn's gonna win today, but setting that aside, these markets offering Rob Sand by margins at these prices tells you how bad the polls have been. People are deliberately manipulating these markets to change perception & hurt campaigns.

NYT reports AK Dems put spoiler candidate on ballot with same name as Republican incumbent senator.
Dems: "Yawn," "It's just politics," "Nothing illegal," "I don't like it but it doesn't matter," "norms, schmorms."
A week later, MI Dem politician endorses GOP senate candidate.
Dems: "This is the biggest outrage since the Defenestration of Prague!" "this will radicalize people!" "this Quisling should be flayed alive!" "Why has she not been turned into a pillar of salt yet?!?"

Why?
“Well because they are going to find out about it on the internet anyway”
Completely unacceptable.

My liberal friends spend a lot of time screaming about Trump when the clowns they need to displace are right here. The evidence that leftism has destroyed the city and state are so obvious. I know this is a political ad, but provide evidence that any of it is wrong. You can’t
