I love Santa Clause: The Movie because it’s very much a film of two halves, the first being a classic sweet and charming sentimental Christmas tale, and then John Lithgow suddenly rocks up an hour into it and just fucks that shit up.

Frankly these things were a mess, such lofty ambitions, such questionable execution. The perfect embodiment of Christmas: 5/7.
