Apparently someone made an accounts impersonating me on @Discord. I DO NOT MESSAGE PEOPLE I DONT KNOW ON DISCORD! If this person messages you, please report immediately! @discord_support
My username - geneavlogger
Impersonator usernames - geneavlogger. and .geneavlogger
I have had 12+ people tell me this person messaged them, all of whom said they also reported the user. In researching this, it seems to be a constant issue on Discord and a lot of the advice was basically "Don't expect Discord to do anything."
I have sent a report through Discord support as a privacy issue, but there is nowhere to specifically report impersonation. I am honestly disappointed at how difficult @discord_support makes it to report someone for impersonation, giving no clear path to resolve the issue.

Most of us black Americans, don't have the slightest clue about our family history. Even after we were enslaved and brought here, we weren't recorded as citizens, just property. Despite this @GeneaVlogger managed to do the seemingly impossible. youtube.com/watch?v=pysOB_Y0…
My latest episode of Youtuber Family Trees dives into the intriguing history of Jabari Walker, whose ancestors were enslaved on El Destino Plantation near Tallahassee, FL.

Genealogy research into the Pope's paternal ancestry has uncovered quite an interesting scandal. Learn more about it in my newest video! youtu.be/JCcqChKAsws
New video out today!
I uncovered some very interesting World War 2 stories in the family tree of @TastingHistory1.
Some of my ancestors were part of this community in 17th century Brazil, but went back to Amsterdam in 1654.
This quoted post is unavailable.
I recently saw The Breakthrough on Netflix, a mini-series about a double-murder in Sweden which was solved using Investigative Genetic Genealogy. I made a review video discussing what they got right, what they got wrong, and breaking down some of the information in more depth.
Max Miller of @TastingHistory1 will be joining me on a live stream this Friday to discuss his experiences as a guest on my series Youtuber Family Trees and learning the in-depth stories of his family history.

Have you used our shiny new website yet?
It's for searching the huge newly-freed BIRLS database of US veterans -- and making a FREE-FOIA-by-FAX for copies of the actual veterans benefits claims files (C-Files) right from the search results!

On today's stream with @Cynical_History, I mentioned the new website from Reclaim the Records which allows you to search the index of the BIRLS Database and then submit a FOIA request through the website.
The example here is Cypher's grandfather Arthur P Patton

I will be live streaming at 5pm EST on Youtube and Twitch with @Cynical_History and his parents, where they will be reacting to the videos I made about their #genealogy.
There might even be a little discussion about the Big-Y test Cypher took!
