POWER UPDATE: 2025 has officially been confirmed as the third-hottest year on record, despite the presence of La Niña, a climate pattern that should have cooled the planet.
That detail matters.
Scientists are clear, human-caused warming is now overwhelming natural climate variability. In simple terms, greenhouse gas emissions are driving global temperatures so aggressively that even natural cooling cycles can no longer offset the heat.
Key signals from the data:
🔹 The world may fully breach the 1.5°C threshold by 2029
🔹The past 11 years are the 11 hottest on record
🔹Oceans, the Arctic, and Antarctica all registered extreme heat

COP30 called itself “the Indigenous Peoples’ COP.”
But who was inside the gates? 1,600+ fossil fuel lobbyists walked freely.
This isn’t inclusion, it’s extraction dressed up as diplomacy. The same corporations destroying the Amazon, poisoning water, and displacing Indigenous communities are the ones financing the negotiations and buying the right to continue the damage. Climate solutions already exist in Indigenous knowledge, governance, and stewardship.
Capitalism cannot solve the crisis it created.
