ALT A statement from President John J. DeGioia on the Supreme Court's DACA decision. "We are thankful to hear of the decision by the Supreme Court today. After months of awaiting this decision, we join hundreds of thousands of immigrant families in feeling a deep sense of relief. I wish to reiterate our University's strongest support for our undocumented students, and members of our community under the protection of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and on a temporary protected status. Georgetown joined other universities in submitting an amicus brief to the Supreme Court emphasizing the importance and contributions of Dreamers to our community and highlighting the stories of three Georgetown students who are DACA recipients."
