A warm Friday is in store, with a cold front set to move in this afternoon and evening. Strong to severe storms develop after 4pm, moving through the I-35 corridor between 6-9pm. Large hail and damaging straight line winds will be the primary threats, with a level 3 of 5 risk.

Timing for Storms: Showers and isolated storms prior to the front east of I-35, with a line of severe thunderstorms developing in the vicinity of the I-35 corridor btwn 5-8pm, then slide eastward into the Coastal Plains 8pm-12am. Damaging wind, tornadoes, and large hail all psbl.
