Athletes that want to play in college - read this. Then save it and read it again. In my corporate day job, I’m a big fan if candidates who played sports, it demonstrates both commitment and time management. It is hard, but hard things are often the most rewarding.

Being a college athlete (especially on an athletic scholarship) is a job. Signing a letter of intent (or often these days, a walk-on agreement) is not a final destination any more than being hired for your dream job.

A disturbing trend in training. Focusing on weaknesses in a force-velocity profile means you're wallowing in low quality training. You need to train strengths to potentiate and bring along improvements in the weaknesses.
