Dedra’s modern apartment vs the safehouse, vs Eddy’s apartment. We see how 5 different residences look on Coruscant in Andor. FIVE. Andor’s Coruscant is absolutely more “lived in” than the prequels. Notice how many different locations on Coruscant I’ve shown and yet to show off

I kind of love that we never see Syril Karn’s “Uncle Harlo” and it’s kind of funny that Eedy still looks up to him even after Dedra dropped this truth bomb:

Cassian attempts to go on a vacation but ends up going to prison instead. All because his lady friend wanted the new flavours of Peezos. And he was just a tourist!

Probably the most hauntingly beautiful intros on the show

rewatching andor and it rightfully gets a lot of praise for so much but one thing i don't see praised nearly enough is the score. nicholas britell does such a great job making the score distinct from what star wars scores typically sound like while still being similar to one

But if they become somebody truly exceptional despite or even as a result of that suffering… this can be a story that is not merely “realistic” but instead a transcendental, inspirational, deeply moving epic.

For those who say she committed to the cause too quickly: a. she was already committed, deep down, just trying to avoid pain - and b. committing at the last minute is something Kino Loy did too…

This first episode Andor scene doesn’t get talked about enough, because in addition to the sexual tension there’s SO much great character work and plot exposition packed in. You have to pay attention. It’s also extremely well directed. Result: great rewatchability.

Like today, it depended on the location they were raised.

I still can’t believe that Andor, a Disney show of all things is able to demonstrate why resistance against a genocidal empire is absolutely necessary. The show is extremely timely and critical of Israel’s illegal occupation and the zionist colonial propaganda especially in season 2 even if it didn’t intend to be at first.

Mon Mothma’s speech to the Imperial Senate in the second season of ANDOR will always be one of the most powerful moments in any Star Wars project.

Diego Luna insisted that his character in Andor (2022) retain his natural Mexican accent. He felt it was vital for the Star Wars galaxy to reflect a diverse range of voices, reinforcing the idea that the Rebellion was composed of people from everywhere.
