my friend DWFan91 has discussed it in a video, but it really is absurd how little attention is given to the fact that modern doctor who is almost entirely an exercise in RTD working through his feelings on The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi like its therapy.
Re-reading through this thread i think its important to note that I'm not talking about MY feelings, I'm talking about how I see so much art be made with responses to the ST in mind, both corporations being scared and artists viewing those movies as something to comment on.
