We send two runners to Doncaster this afternoon.
Bone Marra ran a great race in the Ayr Bronze Cup and the form of that race has worked out well. He was likely caught out over a sharper 6f at Goodwood on his last start, but he can run better today dropped in class with the Cheek Pieces fitted.
French Affair lines up in the second divison of the 6f 0-85 handicap. He responded well to the cheek pieces at Kempton on his last start & the form of that race worked out well in the Kempton sprint final, which he was unlucky to get balloted out from. The ground will be testing, but he remains in good form and hopeful of another promising effort here today.

I’m taking on Prostate United 2026. Football has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, as a @Pompey fan, player, coach and through grassroots football. Now I’m asking that football community to get behind something bigger than the game.
This October I’m taking on Prostate United, walking 10K every day, 310km in total to raise money and awareness for @ProstateUK
I’ve seen close friends face this disease, some thankfully overcoming it after catching it early.
I signed up before the devastating loss of my friend and boyhood hero, Pompey legend Alan Knight MBE. @alanknight11 was Pompey’s all-time No.1, but more importantly a true gentleman. Even during his illness, he spoke openly to raise awareness and help other men.
So I’ll walk for the dads, brothers, teammates and mates affected by prostate cancer and especially for Knightsie.
