Local 1945, DC 39 members caught up with Keith Fougere, Local 1945 Business Representative, while working with Fastec Coatings at the EverWind Fuels jobsite in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

District Council 53 member Seth Rhoades and District Council 57 member James Elish are working hard together on the Stage One parking garage at the Eye Care Center in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Our union was proud to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for Hollywood River Studios being constructed in Wood River, Illinois!
General Secretary-Treasurer Gregg Smith, IUPAT staff, and District Council 58 staff were there with Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and Hollywood River Studios President and CEO Chris Breakwell.
We are grateful for the opportunity to help build the television and film industry in Illinois!

Drywall finishers Greg and Mark and painters Wayne, Mike, and Joe are hard at work on the St. Anne Community and Nursing Care Centre in Arichat, Nova Scotia. Together, they are building this important long-term care facility from the ground up.

On the first day of early voting, South DeKalb showed out with an incredible coalition of working Georgians - union members, advocates and organizers. We know that Georgia can be a place where everyday people know dignity and can count on democracy when we early vote!
When contractors shirk their responsibilities, our union takes action.
Members of DC 30 were not being paid properly by their employer. Business Manager Ryan Anderson visited their job site to speak directly with affected members and ensure they knew their union had their backs in this fight.
He also wanted to make sure these members know about the Member Benefits Protection Program for the unfortunate times when employers fail to pay proper wages or make timely benefit contributions. That’s the union difference.
