So incredibly saddened at the passing of Drew Struzan. He was a master of capturing the passion of a film, translating the energy and excitement of some of the greatest films of our lifetime. He could see the characters in a way that made you want to see that film so bad.

Found this 2008 pic from our Burbank home studio (the master bedroom). After 5 Emmys, El Tigre had been cancelled. Book of Life fell apart over "creative differences" at DreamWorks feature. We were doing a new pilot at Disney TV (Carmen Gets Expelled) and I just knew it wasn't going to go. And the muse was very pregnant with Luka and painting for an art show. To say these were very uncertain times is an understatement. But that's when we're at our best. Adversity will always make you stronger. #HastaLaVictoriaSiempre
