UH-OH:...I just got locked out my @Facebook account....Can't remember what burfday I signed up with...Welp, guess THAT part of my life is forever gone! #Oops #MyBad #GoodByeFacebook #SeriouslyTho
PROPS:...To @CBSSports for the continuous "fast ticker tape" of all tha football scores! #Brilliant! #ThankYou #LongOverdue!
RESPONSE TO WILL SMITH:....Thank you #WillSmith for speaking on #DefundThePolice which keeps convo going, however, this is not about locating the perfect marketing slogan to win over the most people...Its about holding law enforcement officers accountable as in #QualifiedImmunity
...Even further, police budgets are WAY overbloated and it would be more efficient use of #TaxpayerFunding to #DefundThePolice to help cities run better....For instance, police don't need to focus on giving parking tix...especially when violent crime and murder rates are so high!
...Further, those who respond w/ #PoliceReform rhetoric diluting overall convo as a way to prove their loyalty to police....When law enforcement wrongfully kills someone n that City settles with the family, its #TaxpayerFunding that compensates....No officers r held accountable.
THANK YOU: On behalf of Skid Row Neighborhood Council-Formation Committee we thank everyone who joined 2nights Skid Row 41.18 Virtual Town Hall meeting (Nearly 70 people)
Unanimous conclusion is 2 have another meeting but this time include more houseless folks directly affected!
REMINDER!:.....TONIGHT at 6pm!....Skid Row 41.18(d) Virtual Town Hall meeting.
Skid Row is calling for ALL our allies and supporters to join us in this virtual Call to Action!
