This is blatantly unconstitutional and we, as parents in Alabama with kids in school, will 100% fight this in court. Our children have the rught to religious freedom and public schools may not promote or favor any religion. They do not have the right to indoctrinate my kids.

Many similar things were in the Mandate for Leadership in 2017. Trumpβs administration at the time pushed to enact or advance 2/3 of the content in that yearβs βProject.β #Project2025 will be no different. Its iterations have been influential texts for more than 40 years.

Chapter 3 begins the discussion surrounding personnel, including recommendations for managing, merit hiring and pay, performance appraisals, and for rebalancing the federal civil service pay to market.
Thereβs a lot of general information in here that is good for background knowledge, but weβll focus on some of the recommendations.

Executive Office of the President of the United States (2 of 3)
#ReadProject2025
Chapter 2 continues with a review of the roles and responsibilities of the National Security Council, the National Economic Council, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the Council of Economic Advisers, and the National Space Council.
The most important thing we can take away from these few pages is the intent to breakdown the structure of the Executive administration. Traditionally agencies and councils tend to have some degree of independence but the Project 2025 writers make it clear that the goal of the next Conservative President should be to break that tradition and consolidate power and control to the Office of the President.
Additionally they suggest that officials, appointees, and detailees be vetted politically, rather than for their experience and expertise. Once again, loyalty to Trump above all.
Page 52 is critical. They suggest a change to how clearances are issued, only to loyalists. And if one isnβt a loyalist, should they be retained at all? This isnβt just within the White House. This is the plan throughout the U.S. defense complex. This is DANGEROUS.
They arenβt stopping at civilians and contractors though. The writers recommend only promoting Flag and General Officers who are loyalists.
The idea of consolidating power is reinforced again, this time concerning Homeland Security and recommends that anyone who doesnβt pass the loyalty test be sent home on Day 1.
They close page 52 saying the quiet part out loud. The intended goal with all of these plans is to βminimize resistance.β

White House Office (1 of 2)
#ReadProject2025
This chapter is dedicated to explaining roles and responsibilities of critical positions and offices within the White House Office. This portion covers the Chief of Staff, Deputy Chiefs of Staff, Principal Deputy Chiefs of Staff (Management & Operations, and Policy), Senior Advisors, the Office of White House Counsel, and the Staff Secretary.
Most of this portion is informational, descriptive, and non-political in nature. However, there are some interesting notes about the role of the White House Counsel Iβd like to coverβ¦
