This is why I keep saying Arda Güler is better than most midfielders in La Liga, if not the entire world. Watching Barcelona’s midfield yesterday, including Pedri, Frenkie de Jong and Dani Olmo, showed me that their biggest strength is their attack, especially their wingers, rather than midfield creativity. Barcelona struggle to create chances when Raphinha and Lamine Yamal are not performing. Without them, the midfield lacks the creativity and decisive passes needed to control games and unlock defences. Barcelona had moments when they looked like the better team against PSG, but they lacked someone who could take control, dictate the tempo and create clear-cut chances. A player like Arda Güler could have made a huge difference. Luis Enrique’s PSG would have faced a much tougher challenge with Arda in that midfield. His vision, passing and creativity could have changed the game, especially considering PSG’s injury problems. In my opinion, Arda Güler is a generational talent who should not be sitting on the bench at any club. I believe he is good enough to start for any team in the world, even ahead of midfielders like Vitinha and João Neves. 🇹🇷🤍

Arda was outstanding against Leipzig. He is like my engine room — always available, always controlling the tempo and always giving me exactly what I need. He is very important to this team, and he knows how much I value him. This is not a one-off; he delivers week in, week out. He stood out against Roma and Sevilla, and tonight he performed at the highest level again. He is too good, and all I can say is that he should keep improving because his ceiling is still very high. I am also beginning to like the connection between Arda Güler and Kylian Mbappé. It is really great to see them linking up, and I believe their connection will be very good for Real Madrid. I hope they continue to understand each other better and build on this chemistry in their next game against Barcelona in El Clásico. 🤍🔥
