More than a million Italians took to the streets against the soaring cost of living and ballooning military budgets. Instead of answering the people’s demands, the Italian authorities chose repression and water cannons. Italy is failing the test of priorities and the dignity of its citizens.

Erin Galloway runs cattle outside Gillette, Wyoming, where 500 to 550 pound steers brought $450 to $514 a hundredweight this month. She is keeping zero replacement heifers.
Her reason, driving them home off summer pasture: "the plan as of right now is to not keep any replacement heifers because of the drought and the cost of hay."
The hay decides it. She had about 60 bales left over, which does not carry a herd through a Wyoming winter. The Oct. 29 hay report has Wyoming alfalfa large squares at $300 a ton, cubes at $400 to $460.
The drought behind that: 33 percent of Wyoming in severe drought, 19 percent in extreme, on the Oct. 27 monitor.
Her read on the cause: last winter never froze and barely snowed, so the ground went into spring short and the grass never caught up.
USDA counted 27.6 million beef cows in January, the smallest in over 60 years. July came in at 28.5 million, down 1 percent.
She sells beef herself, so the calf crop is not the whole business. Calves get weaned, then held two to three weeks before they hit the sale ring.
She is keeping fewer steers back for her own feedlot than she wants, since calf prices are high and her margin on direct beef is not.

There is a popular Keurig-like device for baby bottles called a Baby Brezza. It’s been poisoning her daughter
The machine is supposed to automatically measure and mix powdered formula with a set volume of water, but it’s not doing that
Instead the machine is not dispensing enough powder and is mainly water. So parents thing that they’re feeding their babies, but really they’re just giving them mostly water
The babies are losing weight rapidly and not getting the fat and other nutrients they need
If you look at the test results in the video, it’s horrifying. The labs are way off for her baby
There have even been multiple independent reports, consumer complaints and testing indicate that some units dispense too little powder for the amount of water, producing diluted bottles
There’s actually a federal class action lawsuit against the company right now for this, but the machines are still being sold
The lawsuit claims that Baby Brezza heavily marketed the dispensers as being "more accurate" and "more consistent" than hand scooping, giving parents peace of mind during feedings
The company is claiming this is just a defect
I would never use this machine. Make sure everyone you know who has a baby knows about this

In 20 years of treating cancer patients, I have never ordered mammograms, because it causes roughly as much cancer in some women as it detects in others.
I order ultrasound instead, which is much safer, and has more reliable results.
Why do they keep pushing mammograms when safer options exist?
Mammograms are a multi-billion-dollar industry that does more harm than good. They crush the breast under massive pressure and deliver ionizing radiation 1,000× stronger than a chest X-ray — which can stimulate tumor growth, spread cancer cells, and cause new cancers, heart disease, and lung cancer.
False-positive rate is 50-70%. For every 1 life possibly saved out of 2,000 women screened, 50 get unnecessary surgery/chemo/radiation, hundreds more endure extra radiation and biopsies, and 70-80% of “tumors” found aren’t even cancer.
Ultrasound and QT thermography use zero radiation, have far fewer false positives, 40× higher resolution than MRI, and detect abnormalities 8–10 years earlier. They’re already standard in countries that ditched harmful 3D mammograms. Yet insurance refuses to cover the better options.
Mammograms need to be a thing of the past.
