Without getting too personal, my own family members are choosing to retire and sell businesses/assets so they can leave the country. People between 50-65 years of age who could easily keep working, by the way.
I earn £100 grand a year. I have a detached house. 2 cars and my wife is a full time home maker. I can just about afford this. I probably couldn’t afford the house I own if I was buying for the first time today. My salary puts me in the top 5% of earners in the UK. Top 5% to have a similar standard of living to Homer Simpson. That is a disgrace. We have a flatter salary distribution than Soviet Russia and the highest taxes and borrowing costs we’ve seen in generations. Success is almost impossible because our tax system means hard work makes you a stressed out tax cow, not wealthy and certainly not free. We need something radical. Less state. More family. Less handouts. More reward for risk. Instead. Tomorrow, Labour will offer another batch of policies which will send one message to aspirational Brits: why bother.

UK new minimum wage: £27,456 per year. Higher-rate tax bracket: £50,270. 1.8x difference. In 1997 there was a 5x difference. Mind boggling.

Stubb: The European Union will have roughly 40 member countries, 20% of the world's nations. My vision is that this happens 30 years from now. Personally, I would like to see all of the Western Balkans, Ukraine and Moldova in. 1/

Incredible how the third world Palistanis have managed to make criticism towards the Spanish government for yet another disastrous train crash about Israel and Jews. These people are not sane. They have descended into a mass hysteria.

Both are quite literally true
I love how these people constantly oscillate between “true market liberalism has never been tried” and “everything good about our society is directly due to market liberalism”

The British state has been winning nonstop against the interests of the public since 1914. It has expanded and expanded whilst the useful idiots of the illiberal statists have used moralising language to defend it at every turn. They captured the economics and the language.
British aristocrats suffered a 20% death rate in World War I, shedding blood on a scale and at a rate not seen since the Wars of the Roses The British state repaid that sacrifice by confiscating their estates through ruinous death and income taxes, wiping away the upper class as a politically important force The wages of that are Britain's dismal present The centuries that saw it governed by a martial aristocracy saw it rise to the peak of Olympus as the mightiest, most prosperous, and most flourishing civilization The century that has seen it ruled by "democracy" has seen it go from a glorious empire to a wretched, poor little island that is increasingly full of Pakistanis and Africans

The budget today will be yet another episode of the statists twisting the knife into the back of this country. Once the state begins to expand, it’s almost impossible to stop. We’re all fighting a losing battle and hoping the age of robotics and AI can save us.

Such a strange gimmick
The US Gov is officially banning the term "AI/Artificial Intelligence" in all "relevant documents and everything else."

This will be an all time disaster
🚨 NEW: John Healey poses with his Budget outside No 11

The thing to remember: don't look at Budgets in isolation. Taxes have been rising since 2021. The extra tax we're paying this year is the *cumulative* result of five successive Budgets, under three Chancellors. This chart shows who's responsible & for how much.

Microsoft systems literally run a good chunk of the modern world? 💀
Elon Musk has roughly 160,000 employees across all of his companies. Microsoft has 223,000 employees. Elon’s employees build cars, rockets, satellites, tunnels, medical chips, AI and other IT products. What do Microsoft employees do all day?

Hardly like any of their products to be honest, but the truth is undeniable.

When will people accept they have agency? Do you realise how retarded “I let an AI chatbot talk me into taking my own life” sounds?

But when Vivek said that white Americans are becoming complacent and prioritise slop consumption over excellence, he was blasted by all sides.
Harvard has just released data for the freshman class, the class of 2030. Asian American students make up 43% (41% class of 2029). This undercounts it though because some students did not self report racial background. Black % at 9% (down from 11% class of 2029). White American % is only around 20%. The New American Elite will be invariably Asian & Wasian. This is indisputable at this point. The decline of White Americans at our elite institutions over the past decade is a massively consequential trend, with cultural & social ramifications. college.harvard.edu/admissio…

Since Trump’s election: -Musk got $680 billion richer -Musk became the 1st trillionaire -SpaceX got $10 billion in federal contracts -Tesla & SpaceX paid $0 in federal income taxes Now, Musk’s spending $442 million to keep Republicans in control of Congress. Gee, I wonder why?

Errrrr his coalition is on 56 seats is it not? 💀
Israeli Exit Polls show Netanyahu's been defeated. Israel has rejected his dark vision, forever war & cruel, dystopic, authoritarian policies. But to succeed, the anti Netanyahu block needs to work with the Israeli Arab parties. I dearly hope this great chance isn't wasted
