Reminder that I have an interview with the VA of Apollo that goes over a lot of the process and decision making that went into making one of Deadlock's great heroes! youtu.be/hBkUk-7sHGc?is=96eK…
To the BIG dog @jdubwttp, an unrelenting competitor -
Know you've got a family of teammates and staff, a top-class organization, and a city who cried with you tonight.
Injuries are a cruel and unfair part of sport, and this one stings more than most. But know you're not alone & you are greater than this
#ThunderUp
Seeing someone's ability to compete taken away from them time and time again affects me in such a visceral way. I can't stand it.
Both because I'm injury prone myself, and because I hold competition as something so sacred and equalizing, in a world that is very rarely officiated with equitable rules.
My heart truly aches for dub & others like him in sports and esports who just can't seem to catch a break with injuries or circumstance.
Really excited to see the nuance that comes through in drafts following this change. Should make for even richer match statistics.
Even after an initial release nerf, Baba still dominates the competitive meta. One of just a handful of heroes that feel both prioritized and dominant in both regions.
A good reminder from ZP - I've seen firsthand how wrong this can go.
Many have waited years to get paid, but you can't lose sight of Deadlock's immense potential. The hype is just beginning.
