Ready for some higher or lower SEC bias talk cause this is getting ridiculous… @BeauBishop @mrjoshuaperry @ShakeNBaker971
That's my coach!
P.J. Fleck shared a powerful story about a chance encounter with the parents of a college football player who died years ago — and how a simple gesture after their son’s death meant more than he ever realized.
Fleck reflected on the emotional connection and the moments that go far beyond football during this week’s P.J. Fleck Show.

This is P.J. Fleck's No. 1 accomplishment as head coach of Gophers football, imo. Legacy-building stuff. 👏👏

And as has been very requested: this week's top teams by average ranking in the five active BCS-era computers. No humans involved here! (Other than the ones that generated the formulas to begin with):

I happen to know a place where you can view the #1 ranked, #2 ranked, and #3 ranked trophies in all of college football at the same time.

Going into last week, Minnesota had 6 games remaining with 4 ranked opponents.
They beat a ranked opponent and now have 5 games remaining against 4 ranked opponents.

Iowa entered Saturday with just THREE turnovers all season.
Minnesota forced FOUR in one game, blocked a punt and won 13-10.
The Gophers managed only 209 yards of offense and still beat #15 Iowa.
That's how you win on the margins.

The Golden Gophers have a jug, an axe and now a PIG!
Minnesota is raking in the rivalry trophies under P.J. Fleck 💪

Flying out of Minneapolis this morning after another “ShakeDown Saturday” in CFB. A lot of Top 15 shuffling this week. There are times when doing something ya love for a living really brings peace to an otherwise stressful or difficult time. That’s certainly true yesterday. Thanks @HawkeyeFootball and @GopherFootball for an exciting finish, but more so for the access to catch up with you, your players and their storylines. In my home state it’s been a rough few months of legends lost. This week I was hit hard by the loss of Dale Brown. Having your game with your guys and Coaching staffs, and Sports Information people really diverted that sadness into happiness getting to call ball 🏈 just as my dreams had hoped. See ya’ll again soon I hope. ☝️🎧🎙️📺

"Iowa falling from #15 to out of the rankings after a 3 point loss to 4-2 Minnesota is stupid. They would never do that to a SEC team"

College football is a place where a baby riding a bronze pig makes perfect sense and will likely be a deeply meaningful family photo for decades to come

Just a word of caution…you’re going to hear a lot of “the SEC is eating each other up” which is true. But it’s not just the SEC. It’s all leagues. Just don’t let them fool you into thinking the SEC is the only one playing tackle while everyone else is playing flag football.
