GOC 7 INF DIV VISITING CORPS HQ AFTER HIGH PROFILE MEET AT PESHAWAR ON 22 OCT 26 Maj Gen Wasim Arif Raja, who recently took over command of 7 Inf Div at Miranshah is flying to Corps HQ Peshwar in an Army Helicopter on 23 Oct 26 (right now). He has been called to convey the points for implementation in North Waziristan after high profile meet yesterday at Peshwar wherein, the CDF, PM, Comdr 11 Corps, other ministers were present. First time ever, a representative of newly created DFHQ, Lt Gen Wajid Aziz, DG Tri-Services Intel in DFHQ also attended the meet. The AOR of 7 Inf Div (North Waziristan) is highly crucial since it borders with Durand Line & has a direct valley connect with Khost - a traditional Haqqani Network (HQN) Area. North Waziristan is also the land of Hafiz Gul Bahadur who head Ittuhad ul Mujahideens (IMP) which is infamous for VBIED suicide attack. IMP is supposed to be well connected with HQN as well. It is assessed that 7 Inf Div would be tasked to enhance border vigilance, coordinate intelligence & targeting over Haqqani Network.

Reportedly died in suspicious circumstances. He was Saifullah's confidant. After Ch Sarwar's (Talha Saeed's confidant) suspicious death, the death of Hamid Ullah Bhatti, who is closer to Saifullah Kasuri, is a matter that is causing rise of eyebrows. It appears that gang war within Lashkar camp for power is going ferociously. Talha Faction vs Kasuri Faction.
