Visionquest can’t go viral on Twitter without you guys comparing it to LANTERNS
I guess when no one is watching your show, you gotta compare it to the one everyone watched.

"Why are DCU fans so overprotective?"
Why won't they be?
you lie about DCU every chance you get,
make fake reviews,
Photoshop RT reviews,
Spread hatred in every DCU related comment section...
You do your worst to hate on DCU and the fans can't do their best to defend?

Happy 55th anniversary to John Stewart, whose resume includes Marine, architect, and Green Lantern. That's already three more qualifications than most of us have, and somehow he still has to deal with the rest of the universe's nonsense. Our John Stewart, Aaron Pierre brought all of that complexity to the screen in LANTERNS. John Stewart first appeared in GREEN LANTERN (Vol. 2) #87, written by Denny O’Neil, with pencils by Neal Adams and inks by Dick Giordano.

#CLAYFACE is a punch to a genre that desperately needs to take risks.
James Watkins wraps a visceral body horror nightmare around a noir romance, and Tom Rhys Harries makes Matt Hagen heartbreaking even at his most monstrous.
At its core, this is a love story that rots from the inside out. Grim, unapologetically twisted, and darker than anything DC Studios has put on screen, with laughs that catch you off guard.

As someone who isn’t into horror/body horror movies, I fucking loved it! This makes me even more excited for DCU’s Batman.

Clayface was certainly as described by the creatives, a rollercoaster. It slowly sets the stage and rightly so for the villain. But once you're on the precipice of that drop, it's a long way down from the top for Matt Hagen with both a very entertaining unravelling of Hagen's psyche that builds on the horror elements with a good momentum.
It's a sympathetic villain story that doesn't betray the melancholic evolution and necessary plunge into all out villain. Hagen arc is a great synergy of both by the culmination of the story. The plot had clear influences and creative flair from the gruesome body horror of The Fly, of course Feat of Clay, to the killings of the One Bad Day comic and beyond. It embraces the strengths of those but in turn the structure ends up feeling familiar and straightforward.
Visually I feel a bit mixed. The cinematography was great, and the way the movie captures Hagen's gruesome moments really put you on edge - but the tone and visual style of Gotham felt at times both something I was excited by, and at other times like I was left wanting more distinct and with even more identity.
The movie truly has such a winner with Tom Rhys Harries, he uplifts it in so many ways with his performance. It just gets more enjoyable along the way, and the nightclub sequence gets truly chaotic in the best way - You're rooting for the villainy at this point and it captured Clayface in his element so well. Naomi Ackie is really good and I enjoyed the somewhat Frankenstein's Monster dynamic that played out. The other characters beyond that felt more functional to the plot than memorable.
There's so much more I can say but we'll get into that in a full review on the channel 🦇
