She's right. Alaska's Graphite Creek project can help break China's monopoly on an essential mineral.
Did you use a semiconductor today? If so you needed graphite and China controls 80% of the world’s graphite supply. We can and should break this monopoly by developing our own resources such as Alaska’s Graphite Creek. Read all about it in my latest for @FoxNews: foxnews.com/opinion/america-…

Forensic science plays an essential role in the criminal justice system by providing impartial, scientific information that assists in solving crimes, from exonerating the innocent to identifying the guilty.
The men and women at the state crime lab deserve the respect and gratitude of every Alaskan for their role in making Alaska a safer place to live.
Governor Dunleavy has declared the week of September 20 as Forensic Science Week in Alaska. Across the state and at the Alaska Scientific Crime Detection Lab in Anchorage, over 50 scientists and professionals help to create a safer Alaska by collecting and processing evidence, analyzing and interpreting data, writing reports, and testifying in court.
Over the last year, the Crime Lab worked on over 3,100 lab requests and processed over 9,200 DNA samples. They entered nearly 300 forensic samples into databases, generating about 190 investigative leads. Analysts from the Crime Lab testified over 100 times across the state. The staff works tirelessly to provide scientific support to the criminal justice system and keep Alaska safe.

Alaska’s energy future is bright, and strong leadership and partnership at every level will help us unlock the tremendous potential of our state. Thank you to everyone who participated in today’s important conversation.
