📣📣 $VOI Block Rewards 📣📣
The @Voi_Net real-time block rewards are live and parties can opt in. The fee sink is the repository for the block rewards. The initial funding of the fee sink is the transaction fees since genesis. Parties are free to gather from the relatively small amount in the sink (a bit over 100,000).
Over the next few weeks, @bwhdx and I will run manual block rewards for the trailing week and monitor how the real-time are flowing. Our goal is to shut off manual rewards in the next three weeks and have a full switchover to real-time with notice to opt in for rewards.
This is very exciting. Hats off to the Algorand team for an incredible AVM update.

Today's mini-vibe project: A Terminal UI for managing a Voi/Algorand node. Network state w/ block and online stake, key status/expiry, last proposal for each account, balances, key renewal, and a scanable ARC-90 QR code that works with @Voi_Wallet to sign the keyreg transaction.

Almost 2 years, countless projects, and lots of pixels pushed. My chapter at @AlgoFoundation has ended.
Grateful to have worked alongside Margarida and @AlexaJaccarino!🫡
Here's a look at some favorite projects from that journey.

We will continue to manually release block rewards for the coming weeks to test out the automated block rewards. Our goal is to get to real-time block rewards in the next month.
