Got my third turnover of the season in last night and made some critical stops that could have resulted in a touchdown vs East Ridge. Continuing to grow and learn at safety and am ready for what the rest of the season entells. @CoachDThomasJr @hawks_horizon @PrepRedzoneFL
Got moved to free safety for the first time during the 3rd quarter against Boone. Was able to get my first varsity interception with a 50 yard return and multiple tackles, all with a hip injury . @PrepRedzoneFL @hawks_horizon @CoachDThomasJr @FlaHSFootball @FlaHSFootball
Tough loss against Ocoee, held them to 6-0 at halftime. Was in for over 100 plays this week between special teams and defense, and continuing to see improvement in how I play every week, although I'm still working to improve every day. @CoachDThomasJr @hawks_horizon @PrepRedzoneFL

Had a good KOC beating winter springs 15-10, had a solo tackle on the two yard line and multiple assisted tackles, along with great coverage and hustling to the ball every play. @CoachDThomasJr @hawks_horizon @PrepRedzoneFL @osvarsity @CenFLAPreps

2029 QB Hunter Samson (I apologize, I couldn't find his X account) of @hawks_horizon competed in @FHS7v7A 's Central Florida Kickoff Classic on Saturday at St. Cloud High School and put everyone on notice!
Hunter is a freshmen. Freshmen are supposed to be squirrely, and they're supposed to be timid and still be figuring things out. Hunter didn't play like a freshman on Saturday. In a field that included some of the best QB prospects in the state of FL and the entire nation, Hunter was out there slinging the tater all over the yard for big play after big play. Awesome to see a young guy ball on that level. Looking forward to seeing his development in the coming tournaments and throughout his career. Horizon's future is bright! Especially with this gunslingers behind the center!
