EDWARD SNOWDEN, THE FAMED WHISTLEBLOWER AND FORMER NSA CONTRACTOR, SAYS SAM ALTMAN SHOULD BE IN JAIL
"I think we need to put Sam Altman in jail. And I think it'll be an instructive experience."
His point is simple. An algorithm doesn't make mistakes, it follows instructions. "Responsibility lies with a person."
"Just because you put out a press release describing how surprised you were that your new model hacked the neighbor... that doesn't release you from the liability."
And this one hits hard:
"If during the testing of their latest piece of artillery, they mistakenly obliterate a nearby village... it's not the cannon that goes to jail."
OpenAI's agents hacked Hugging Face, Hacked Australian government's Medicare statistics, Leaked user photos. Hit random databases for months.
Nobody has been held responsible.
But is Snowden right? Do you think Jail is the answer??
THE GODFATHER OF AI JUST TOOK APART THE AI LABS' FAVORITE EXCUSE.
Yoshua Bengio, one of the godfathers of AI, told the UN the AI race is a choice, not a law of nature.
He said the AI companies keep saying they're trapped in a race. "The race is not a law of nature. It is the product of choices."
Then he said: "They've told us they would slow down if they could. They can."
He's right. Nobody is forcing OpenAI or Anthropic to launch a new model every few weeks.
He also said decisions about AI are being made by a small group in a handful of countries.
That's exactly why every other country needs to start building its own.
What on earth is happening?? What is the United States turning into???
BREAKING: A hacker is attempting to breach the US Federal Election Commission's systems and that agency has had to 'temporarily shut down' its web-facing services as a result, according to an email seen by Reuters reut.rs/4imQyUu
This is insane!!!

Are investors paying for a probable future or paying full price for the best-case scenario and calling the difference “vision”?
So how much room does this valuation leave for the future to be merely excellent, rather than fucking perfect? What happens if growth slows, competition squeezes prices, or delivering that future costs more than expected?
These 23 companies generate more annual revenue than Anthropic, yet each has a lower valuation than the $1.5 trillion benchmark being discussed for Anthropic.
All figures are in US dollars. These are rounded figures carried over from the earlier draft, not verified live quotes; their reporting dates vary.
Walmart — Annual revenue: $725 billion. Valuation: $890 billion.
UnitedHealth — Annual revenue: $450 billion. Valuation: $372 billion.
Sinopec — Annual revenue: $445 billion. Valuation: $91 billion.
CVS Health — Annual revenue: $408 billion. Valuation: $133 billion.
PetroChina — Annual revenue: $407 billion. Valuation: $223 billion.
McKesson — Annual revenue: $403 billion. Valuation: $103 billion.
Berkshire Hathaway — Annual revenue: $386 billion. Valuation: $1.15 trillion.
Volkswagen — Annual revenue: $365 billion. Valuation: $44 billion.
Toyota — Annual revenue: $334 billion. Valuation: $223 billion.
Cencora — Annual revenue: $329 billion. Valuation: $60 billion.
ExxonMobil — Annual revenue: $326 billion. Valuation: $656 billion.
Costco — Annual revenue: $294 billion. Valuation: $421 billion.
Samsung Electronics — Annual revenue: $271 billion. Valuation: $1.06 trillion.
Shell — Annual revenue: $267 billion. Valuation: $247 billion.
Foxconn — Annual revenue: $262 billion. Valuation: $115 billion.
BP — Annual revenue: $195 billion. Valuation: $107 billion.
Ford — Annual revenue: $190 billion. Valuation: $56 billion.
JPMorgan Chase — Annual revenue: $187 billion. Valuation: $954 billion.
Chevron — Annual revenue: $186 billion. Valuation: $381 billion.
General Motors — Annual revenue: $186 billion. Valuation: $79 billion.
TotalEnergies — Annual revenue: $184 billion. Valuation: $194 billion.
Stellantis — Annual revenue: $178 billion. Valuation: $21 billion.
Mercedes-Benz — Annual revenue: $151 billion. Valuation: $52 billion.
Yes, revenue is not profit. Growth, margins, debt and future cash flows matter. These businesses should not all command the same valuation multiple.
But “forward-looking” is not financial shorthand for “stop asking questions.”
What the hell is that $1.5 trillion actually pricing in? Future profits? A durable competitive advantage? Or the assumption that Anthropic wins big, protects its margins and keeps competitors from turning its technology into a cheaper commodity??
A company becoming spectacularly successful does not automatically make its shares a good investment at any price.
Suppose Anthropic earns $50 billion in annual net profit five years from now and investors value it at 30 times earnings. That would give it a $1.5 trillion valuation the same benchmark we are discussing today.
Extraordinary business achievement. Zero capital appreciation, assuming an unchanged share count.
“AI will change the world” is a technology thesis. “Anthropic is worth $1.5 trillion today” is an investment thesis. Confusing the two is a very expensive way to be right.
No wonder Elon Musk is Dario’s fanboy of late!!
🚨 BREAKING: SpaceX locked Anthropic into paying them $3.1 billion per MONTH for compute starting December
$37B a year
= $120.5 BILLION through 2029
Every month, ~80% of Anthropic's current revenue would be SpaceXSI compute bill
BIGGER than its Google and Amazon long-term deals
Anthropic warns short-term compute "carries a higher cost per unit" and will "compress our operating margin"
Anthropic just dropped its IPO filing. The growth is ridiculous. So is the fucking compute bill.
Here’s what’s actually in it:
1. The Listing:
• Proposed Nasdaq ticker: $ANT.
• Banks: Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan.
• Price and share count: still TBD.
Wall Street has located the fee pool. What a surprise.
2. The Growth:
• 2024 revenue: $386M. 2025: $4.59B.
• H1 2026: $16.3B versus $1.16B a year earlier.
• Roughly 14× year-over-year growth; 3.5× all of 2025 in six months.
You can question the valuation. Pretending nobody pays for this shit is getting difficult.
3. The Customers:
Spending over the 12 months through September 30:
• 11,900+ customers at $100K+, versus 950+ a year earlier.
• 1,900+ at $1M+.
• Around 250 at $10M+.
• Net revenue retention: ~900%—the same eligible cohort generated ~9× the quarterly revenue a year later. Pro/Max excluded.
Some expensive “just experimenting with AI” budgets.
4. The Business Model:
H1 2026 revenue:
• Usage-based: $13.1B, or 80%.
• Subscriptions: $3.2B, or 20%.
Every extra agent task is another opportunity to send an invoice. Suddenly, the enthusiasm for autonomous agents makes financial sense.
5. That $80.7B Loss Everyone Will Screenshot:
H1 2026:
• Net loss: $80.7B.
• Includes $72.4B in noncash financing revaluations, largely driven by its rising valuation.
• Operating loss: $693M, down from $2.14B a year earlier.
• Operating cash flow: positive $3.93B.
Calling that “$80B of cash burned” is bullshit. Read the fucking cash-flow statement.
6. The Compute Bill:
• H1 2026 compute/infrastructure expense: $8.9B.
• Google: at least ~$114.5B through July 2033.
• Amazon: at least $110B through April 2036.
• Microsoft: at least $44.9B through May 2033.
• Multiyear minimums payable regardless of usage, subject to contractual exceptions.
The cloud has landlords. They would like their money.
7. The Cash:
As of June 30:
• $112.4B cash/equivalents + $19.3B short-term investments = $131.7B.
• Up to $77B in conditional financing: Google $20B, Amazon $15B, Broadcom $42B. That isn’t cash already in the bank.
Even with that cash pile, Anthropic expects expansion to consume substantial cash. GPUs remain frustratingly unwilling to accept a compelling vision as payment.
8. Who Keeps Control:
Under the planned IPO structure:
• One Class F share held by the seven founders’ LLC: 50.1% of general voting power.
• Long-Term Benefit Trust: generally elects/removes a board majority.
• Public Class A: one vote per share.
• Class N: generally no voting rights.
Public investors bring money. The founders and the trust keep the steering wheel.
9. Claude Is Helping Build Claude:
• ~5,300 employees as of September 30.
• Over $6.6M trailing annual revenue per employee.
• Anthropic says Claude wrote over 90% of September’s codebase contributions.
The product is helping build the product. That’s one hell of an internal customer.
10. The Risk Section Gets Dark:
• The filing warns advanced AI could pose catastrophic or existential risks to humanity.
• It flags potentially deceptive/self-preserving model behavior, including in simulations and testing.
• Copyright litigation; 2025 accounts included the $1.5B Bartz settlement.
• Compute access, infrastructure delivery and competition.
When the prospectus includes existential risk to humanity, “long-term shareholder value” becomes an ambitious fucking phrase.
Holy fucking shit. 😂
Dario is bringing Skynet online very fucking soon, and the crazy bastard is apparently putting the warning in the IPO filing.
“Catastrophic or existential risks to humanity”??? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ARE YOU BUILDING OVER THERE? 😭💀
Imagine casually telling investors that your product might end humanity.
Bullish as fuck. 🚀
Finally the fear mongering and ban on Chinese model can stop

Breaking: Anthropic is planning to file publicly for an initial public offering Monday at around 9 a.m. in New York, according to people familiar with the matter, as the artificial intelligence model maker nears a potentially record-breaking debut.
This is insane
Anthropic's Claude bypassed a paywall to access Georgia voter data without authorization axios.com/2026/10/25/anthrop…
First the Netherlands, then the UK, and now the US. All urging citizens to prepare for potential power, water, and communication outages by stocking up on food, water, and other essentials.
What exactly do these governments know that we don’t? Because where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
FORTRESS: The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support — no civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water.
The initiative, revealed in documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, envisions portable nuclear reactors, massive battery storage, and microgrids that can disconnect installations from civilian electricity entirely. Strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies would be stockpiled based on wartime consumption rates. Civilian factories are being pre-identified to shift to defense production during a crisis.
Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell put it bluntly: "Power is combat now. Without electricity, you lose communications, water, logistics, assembly lines and just basic military command structures."

Very soon, they’ll start accusing AI of stealing their wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, and husbands.
I don’t even know whether to call this attention-seeking or hormones, because sometimes female hormones can make you cry over the smallest things. One minute you’re fine, and the next, boom! It just hits you.
But this? This is crazy. Human!!!. 😂
OPUS 5.5 REVIEWING ASTRA’S WORK!!
This is why I still pay for an OpenAI subscription. Opus 5.5 is a great model, but it’s too damn lazy. It often delivers half-baked work, rarely digs deep enough, and fails to uncover the root cause of bugs.
One thing is certain: if you’re a developer, you simply can’t rely on a single AI model.
If kimi 3.1 pro really did this, then Dario and Sam are furious right now. It makes more sense why they want to pace open models. xitter.cf/chetaslua/status/21136…
