This is why I love Remedy. I’m sure the devs are so proud art from their family’s are now in a game, forever immortalized. When the alternative is Ai slop, the choice is simple.
Replying to @stephentotilo
Some of the art is also by Remedy staffers, who are essentially exhibiting their side projects in Resonant.
A very cool aspect of this game, from a studio that often taps family and friends to fill things out
Read all about it (and why there are so many gyms in the game, too!)

Making a game is art. It’s like an extension of you. I really think it’s one of the most vulnerable things a person can do. You tear off a piece of yourself, hold it up to the world and say, “Here’s what I love, and I hope you love it too”.
Takes balls. Keep it up, indies! ❤️
So I’m 800 wishlists shy of 7k on Steam. I haven’t spent any money advertising my game yet…And I kinda wanna just skip that step all together now.
I worked in advertising for years, but seldom think about how exactly to go about it for my own project.
I’ve wrapping up my play-through of the Indiana Jones game and it’s a lot bigger of a game than I thought it would be. I’m enjoying it and love whipping crackin’ people in the face.
Just clearing out my backlog so GTA 6 can take over next month.
I beat Silent Hill Townfall last night and by beat I mean I looked up solutions for almost every puzzle, especially that last one.
I liked the detailed atmosphere of the game and the sound design was scary as hell but those puzzles way too tedious for me.

Trying to find real png files for basically anything you can imagine has become one of the hardest things ever.
So much download betrayal.
Watched Donnie Darko last night and realized that I’ve got that screenplay basically memorized word for word.
I love when a game shows me a cool looking area thats inaccessible makes me think it’s just for background set dressing, but then you end up passing through it way later unexpectedly.
I’m trying to implement this with Cryptica. If ya see it, you can go probably get there.
You might’ve heard about slenderman and sirenhead already but have you heard about gripman?
Legend has it that gripman is on these streets and he’s ruining upcoming indie filmmakers shots at success.
Get him off all sets!
Saying this now so I remember to put it in my game later: add giant crevasse with 2 ladders duck-tapped together stretching across. Create stress flex sound cue and add rumble features.
So now wood or metal ladder?
