1/7 - I'm building a one-person startup run like a small company - with AI bots as my team. 👴💻
It's called SITES. Here's how it works 🧵

Demis Hassabis says today’s AI will look like NOTHING compared to what’s coming in just 1–2 years.
And this is coming from the guy running Google DeepMind.
We’re arguing over which chatbot is better while the people building the frontier models are already worried about what comes next.
The next few years are going to be absolutely insane.
I have just managed to run FLUX3 for my Amika.club site. In my experience, FLUX2 was better. These two pictures where created with the same prompt - left FLUX3, right FLUX2.

I'm trying to create images of men and women that look like authentic people - not styled, polished models.
It's surprisingly difficult with local AI models on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (with 16 GB VRAM).
I used FLUX.2 Klein 4B (primary; Qwen3 text encoder inside the FLUX pipeline for long identity prompts), RealVisXL V5 Lightning (SDXL fallback), and an optional Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large FP8 polish pass.
Here are four examples:
5/7 - Our setup rules:
• Vanilla code, no heavy frameworks
• Test on the real webspace, not just locally
• Schedule heavy work for low-traffic hours
• Strict token budgets for every bot
6/7 - Our goals are simple: max visitors, min tokens.
Good content, lean code, and no wasted AI calls. I'll share what works — and what fails — here in public.
4/7 - The six projects: Project Leader - Project name
• Marcus — MyTop30 mytop30.com
• Lena — Dorfkalender dorfkalender.at (Austria)
• Alex — AddictiveBooks dorfkalender.info (Germany)
• Greta — Gogga Box for Kids gogga.at
• Alan — Smartstart-AI smartstart-ai.com
• Rosa — ReinUndFein reinundfein.at
3/7 - The structure:
Owner: Gerhard (me)
CEO: Felix
CEO Office: Conrad, our controller, and Xenia, our PR officer
Below them: six project leaders, one per site.
2/7 - The idea: SITES creates content-rich niche websites.
Not one big platform. Several small sites, each focused on one topic and built to be genuinely useful.

I went to witness the riots in Paris.
I’m going to tell you the truth: it was only young people from African immigrant backgrounds who came to attack our police officers and firefighters, loot our shops, and destroy everything.
An elderly French couple in their 80s was robbed and left in their underwear in the street.
The steeple of a 150-year-old church was completely burned down.
This is not a social revolt for better education.
It’s a taste of an ethnic war that took place today.
Most image models I know tend to idealize human portraits, especially of women. They drift toward beauty stereotypes, which makes it almost impossible to generate authentic-looking people. I'll test FLUX 3 to see if it does better.

What is going on with @Grok?
I gave Grok a simple sentence and asked it to improve my English. It got frozen in an endless loop:
For my Amika.Club project, I've created hundreds of unique characters, entirely with local AI models: Qwen3.6 27B (later Qwen3.8 27B), Gemma4 12B, FLUX.2 Klein 4B, RealVisXL V5 Lightning (as an SDXL fallback), and optionally Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large FP8 for a final polish pass.
The biggest challenge was consistency: getting the image models to produce four images of the same person. They tended to drift, creating slightly different versions of each character.
They also drifted toward a standard look, especially for women. My models seem to have learned beauty stereotypes that I couldn't fully override with prompts. Nearly everyone came out attractive, and it was almost impossible to create ordinary-looking faces.
Surprisingly, some old problems of image models are still there: strangely crossed arms, hands with four or six fingers, and unnatural poses.
If you have experience creating realistic images with local models, I'd love your feedback! 👴💻

David Sacks says Anthropic treating Claude like a human is the reason the AI alignment field has produced nothing useful in 10 years
"I actually think that this might be a reason why the whole field of alignment has been so spectacularly unsuccessful over the past five or 10 years. As far as I can tell it hasn't produced anything of tangible value.”
“My theory on this is that they're overcomplicating the task massively by trying to train the model to behave based on an 80-page ethical system that they've codified instead of a very simple list of rules like follow the law or just do what the user wants as long as it doesn't break the law. That's what alignment should be doing."
"But they're not doing that. They're trying to align it to an ethical system. They're treating it like it is a human, like it has its own consciousness, that it's a ‘moral patient.’”
“They are encouraging this model to have human-like self conception in terms of preferences, well being, a sense of self. Again they teach it to act like a conscientious objector who can push back or refuse instructions even from Anthropic if the model judges them to be wrong."

I'm building a website entirely with local AI models running on my own PC: Amika.Club 🧵
Hundreds of fictional Europeans, aged 18 to 80, each with a face, a hometown and a life story.

The bios become prompts, and a local image model creates four portraits per character. I review them in a pipeline dashboard which I built with Cursor. About 10–20% get redone because of the usual problems with hands, arms and odd poses. Local models aren't cloud-level yet, but they're getting close.

Everything ends up in a SQL-backed website. The models and technical details are in the About section: Amika.Club
What would you build with a fully local AI pipeline? 👴💻
