Bob Harvie and his Dark Money allies have been actively trying to suppress voter turnout in PA-1 by sending mailings to Republican voters, telling them that I’m “too moderate” and “too independent,” and encouraging them to stay home. This is the exact opposite message, of course, that Bob Harvie is sending to all other voters. Commissioner Harvie, unfortunately, has a history of attempting to suppress the voices of voters in our community whom he disagrees with, as was put on full display in national headlines in 2024, when he intentionally violated a PA Supreme Court Order in his role as Chairman of the Board of Elections. It was on full display again when he purged all Bucks County Boards and Commissions, including the Bucks County Community College Board, of anyone who disagreed with his worldview. Diversity of thought is something that should be celebrated, not suppressed. Commissioner Harvie, our goal should be 100% voter turnout of ALL voters, not just those whom you approve of. Our goal should be to allow all voices on our community to be heard, no matter who those voices are or what they believe. I’m calling on you to denounce these blatant and unbecoming attempts at voter suppression immediately.
