My course about Ruby on Rails security is out of pre-sale. All of the content, videos and text is published now. I will likely add an extra AI section soon as an extra.

How many times have you tried to run bin/rails db:reset, only for Postgres to fail because you left a rails console or server running in another terminal?
Rails 8.2 fixes this by automatically using FORCE when dropping PostgreSQL databases. One less thing to worry about in local development!
This release will be great!
I mixed and poured about 1 ton of concrete this morning on my own. No wonder most construction workers struggle with some sort of addiction. You can't stay sane doing this every day.

You can now install Omacharts in #omarchy as any other package: Install → Package → omacharts.
The first time you run omacharts, it will install its plugin for the Omarchy bar. It is a great addition for any casual user who wants to track some ticklers in Omarchy. Click a tickler, and you get a beautiful chart to dig into instantly. Organize ticklers in the app, and the widget will reflect it.
I have been busy with other stuff lately, but I have lots of ideas to add to omacharts next. I loved seeing a stack of great PRs from other chart geeks waiting to be merged🤩.

We released a new episode of the Pingback Podcast with @joelga on Saturday. We had a special guest, @samruby, he co-wrote Agile Development with Rails and he is recently working on Roundhouse to make it possible to compile Rails apps to binary with Spinel.
Give it a listen!

I think this intro would want everyone to listen the conversation with Sam!

I did a thing.
Sam Ruby has helped shape the web for decades, and @GregMolnar and I got an hour with him on episode 3 of the @PingbackPodcast.
I'm extremely honored. Thanks, @samruby.

After @EuRuKo in #Sarajevo and @RubyConfAT in #Vienna, I'm starting a third conference: @GoatConf, in #Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 3–5 June 2027.
Free to attend, open to every stack, and built like @pidotdev: a small core that anyone can extend.

I must not be the only one regularly listening to this song. I wonder if his listen numbers when up since Rails World.
