People on the Left often complain about the BBC being too right wing, while people on the Right accuse it of left wing bias. Now, to me that says it must be fairly balanced. Has it fucked up a few times? Yes. What media outlet hasn't? Should it be destroyed because of this? I don't believe so. And YES - I have a show on @BBCSounds so you can legitimately say I have a vested interest. But this isn't about me, and I genuinely think it would be a tragedy to lose the BBC.

Just another day as a Computing Science teacher. This is my first year running @PlayCraftLearn Minecraft Education coding and the students and I are loving it. S1 focus on basic event based coding and S3 looking at algorithms and decomposition. Brilliant.

Finally completed Level 6 Ethical Hacking materials for NPA Cyber Security - eWorkbooks as Google Slides for chapters, teacher answer versions, Google Form Homeworks. Utilises a number of free Try Hack Me room tasks but also have Virtual Box on stand alone laptops

This is a big deal for global education. The PISA assessment, which ranks national school systems, will begin testing not only computational thinking, but also block-based coding / algorithm design. Nations that teach computer science will rank higher. codeorg.medium.com/pisas-new…
