I spy a few GR VTFTs who are part of our AMAZING music programs at Green Run. #stallionpride – at Virginia Beach, VA
How much do I love our GR VTFTs!?!? I am out today, and they took the leadership to create our Black History door- Lavar Burton’s Reading Rainbow with not only the groundbreaking Snowy Day, but other children’s books by Black authors. @GRHS_Stallions @grcollegiate @TCE_VBCPS – at Smithfield, VA
A normal reaction in GR VTFT- individual projects about their internship assignments. @GRHS_Stallions @grcollegiate @TCE_VBCPS @DebbyBriscoe – at Virginia Beach, VA

What a great visit to Kempsville Child Development Center. A former GR VTFT @aortizgrc - a teacher there- helped organize our trip to extend our study of Piaget. We appreciate their work with young learners. Green shirt debut day. @GRHS_Stallions @grcollegiate – at Virginia Beach, VA
GR VTFT learned so much from the teachers and administrators at @plazamiddle ! We loved the learning “ambiance.” Bonus: We met a former Kellam VTFT! @GRHS_Stallions @grcollegiate – at Virginia Beach, VA
Our first GR VTFT learning walk of the year! We saw many signs of hope in learning at @RosemontEagles today! Thank you so much for hosting us. @GRHS_Stallions @grcollegiate @TCE_VBCPS – at Virginia Beach, VA
Instilling Hope In Learning- GR VTFT- our theme for 2023-24. We used the Save the Last Word for Me protocol to take a deep dive into Dr. Bashant’s article and create our own message of hope for us as future educators. @PowerMom73 @GRHS_Stallions @grcollegiate @TCE_VBCPS – at Virginia Beach, VA

Hurt people hurt people. Threatened people keep folks in check by hiding opportunities. It takes a strong person to not act out of anger...especially when we feel they deserve it. Self control is the highest form of dignity and respect for you and others.
Q5: Final question post of the evening, but we welcome engagement to continue throughout the days ahead. #BelongingVB #LeadVB

With the new school year about to begin, let’s remember that not every student went on a family vacation, visited an amusement park, explored nature or met new friends at a sleepover camp in the woods.
Some students summer highlights include having a roof over their head and just enough food to survive.
These students have been counting the days to return to school for safety, consistency, support, friendship, nutrition, and hope for the future!
Thank you for everything you do for our students!
