In high school basketball, it's not just about the plays you call,
it's about the relationships you build.
Invest in your players. Battle for their trust.
That's where transformation happens.

The interesting thing about teaching 7th grade is that you can have the perfect lesson brewing.
Then, out of nowhere, a student will drop a water bottle, a kid will fart, or a backpack will fall off a chair and colored pencils will somehow explode across the floor.
And just like that, chaos.
Welcome to 7th grade, bruh.
Nothing like being in the Old High School Gym and hanging with classmates of the Class of Darby High 1991. School tour and a ton of memories in this place! Found the 1987 Middle School BBall trophy!

Most evenings, I read for 10–15 minutes before I fall asleep.
But if I had to answer the kinds of questions my students often answer after reading (identify the central idea, analyze the author’s purpose, etc.) I would probably stop reading.
This is why, if we want to build lifelong readers, we have to sometimes give students time to read for the sake of reading.

Really fun shoot and story today down in Frenchtown. Former Bronc, Grizzly and Frenchtown native Adam Botkin (@adambotkin) did a surprise jersey reveal with the football team as he donated new football and volleyball jerseys to the school through his apparel brand, Dreamer.
@coopermichaud14 and @DawsonRodoni got to be part of the reveal and check out the new jerseys, which look great and the Broncs will don tomorrow for the first time at homecoming 🏈
Full story coming next week, some behind-the-scenes snippets here with Adam and his team 🎥

HIT → FIND → GET.
HIT the offensive player first.
FIND the basketball immediately.
GET it at its highest point.

Should be a great one tonight in Frenchtown.
Rematch of last year’s Class A state championship game from this very field as the Broncs (2-0) host Billings Central (2-0). Beautiful evening, updates to follow 🏈 #mtscores

One of the key takeaways from this mess is that the policy of conferences maintaining their own officiating crews is unjustifiable. It creates the appearance of a conflict of interest in every single non-conference game. The NCAA should centrally train and regulate officials.
