I think the software industry has changed in the following way: Anybody can build anything now, so what matters a lot more now is that you are the kind of person that wants to _actualize_ something. That whatever you have a thing you want to bring into the world, you're actively trying to make it happen.

I think they meant without the bank's authorization. Not "your" authorization.
Prediction: as more software development work moves towards workflows/factories, there will be nostalgia about "hand prompting", just like there has been for hand coding.
Hand prompting was around for like 2 years.
We still have room at Build for GTM: A Multiplayer AI Hackathon tomorrow! 💚 Join us in SF, Oct. 23, 1-4 p.m. PT, to see @adammalone's GTM workflows and build a bot for your sales, marketing, or RevOps work. You don't need coding experience.

This makes me realize that the national security concerns about AI might not be about systems getting hacked, but about existing security holes that governments rely on being discovered
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

I think Digg .com failed due to architectural choices, but not in the way of choosing the wrong stack or something. They did architectural and product change at the same time, the product failed and the new architecture didn't let them roll that back
🎤 El line-up:
• @llamaluvr (Expo)
• @entiendoNULL (Expo), que viene desde Suecia 🇸🇪
• @watchful_toast (@okthinkai )
• @_mesurashii, ingeniera de software, líder de comunidad y mentora 💜
• Samantha Wen (Expo), maestra de ceremonias ✨
