$NDX fell -2.6% Thursday. Percentage of stocks hitting 52-week Highs climbed to its greatest level since August. New Lows remained nonexistent. Weakness is concentrated in handful of heavyweight, while participation is improving. Breadth doesn't inform of a sustainable downtrend.

But everyone else is going bungee jumping Mom!
"Who is everyone Timmy?"
At least 1K others Mom!
"Tell me if you can spot the problem with this idea Timmy."
Red expensive, Green cheap
If P/E declining all year, something changed; its not the valuation metric investors are using!
(in earnest, why I don't only use P/E, as clearly that is not why the sector has been rerated lower)

Heard of the Banana 🍌🍌 325-DMA?
Nasdaq 100 $QQQ has!!
Discovered by @Banana3Stocks this has become an #FF-DMA over last several years and appears to have been tested as support again.

Trailing 100-day relative price returns for Semis $SMH vs Software $IGV.
Software beat Semis by +26.3 points, +2 st deviation over trailing 100 days.
Because of the former Semi extreme outperformance, this pairing may have further to unwind before Semis lead again.

Amazing 🤯
I've long since said I want nothing to do with Semi ETF $SMH exposure but happy to go with Best-in-Breed
Almost every major Semi stock has underperformed Software $IGV over last 100 days shy of $ORCL
Only $NVDA has delivered a positive return for Semi stocks.

Cap-weight $SPY vs. Equal-weight $RSP
Equal-weight has dominated Cap-weighted S&P 500 in October, but as the month comes to a close, it looks like a perfect kiss 💋 of the key 40-WMA may be signaling another shift in leadership that favors Cap-weighted index ahead.

This was a garbage scraping of internet-based prices in the 1st place, but also a way that biased market participants expressed nonsense, some even well-popularized strategists.
Funny how none of those unqualified folks post this garbage anymore. Belongs in the 🗑️

“.. small-caps, mid-caps, transports, semiconductors, as well as many sectors have tested their 200-DMAs.
We suspect $SPX is next which would bring it towards 7300 .. an overshoot of the 200-DMA would also not be surprising like we saw in March ..”

Starting the day with another profitably completed 💰 Nvidia long scalp $NVDA
Day after day, conviction, plugging away with objective to get core cost average down to $50/share (currently $65's).
Semi-billing order cycle may be peaking or have peaked. Will know soon enough.

Indeed, 3 more completed $NVDA trades from dip buys last week and even an intraday dip and rip sale. Total of 4 completed NDA trades on the day.
Took advantage of $M rip by shorting and covered for a quick profit as well. Good day, good day! Trade with me at finomgroup.com
