Thank you @Wickes. I’ve wasted 4 of my 5 days off, rescheduled tasks and cancelled tradesmen doing jobs, thanks to waiting for a delivery that didn’t happen. Due to teaching’s inflexibility, they’ll have to wait til Christmas. Except nothing gets done then, so it’ll be February!
Possibly one of the most useful things in my classroom – the countdown timer! And as it’s half term, a software update is due #Arduino

We use them in Computing lessons to check for understanding and misconceptions. Academically, they work well. Logistically, because we lose so many down the back of the desks, they’re a pain in the bum!

Yes, always completely free. I started making it because there was a lack of resources for OCR IT. Adding Computer Science seemed a logical next step.
Hope your project’s going well

Looking good. Ours only arrived about a week ago. Looking forward to seeing what our Code Clib kids can do with it

Love @Kitronik stuff. We got Mai-Z the Mousebot recently, the students have had great fun programming it. I’m old enough to remember the turtle which probably inspired it

They’re great, but we always have to glue the bases on @Kitronik

The penguin could be a baby Tux 😂
I’m being far too creative planning these lessons 😂 #TeamCompSci
During today’s Year 12 A-Level Computer Science lesson, several students walked-in half way through.
