We snuck in a bit of tree planting before the rain set in at Guildtown today! Children from P3-P7 at Guildtown Primary joined us to plant 30 trees in Guildtown Park as part of A Tree for Every Child! 🌳🌳
The trees are a mix of Wild Cherry, Rowan and Silver Birch 🌳

Pupils/staff at @GuildtownPS were delighted to receive two mud kitchens from contractors, Hugh LS McConnell Ltd.
The pupils gave a thank you card/banner for the contractor. Mud kitchens were donated as a community benefit and as part of the External Fabric Upgrades 6 Contract.

So glad you enjoyed our visitor… happy growing 🥔🍠🍟
Today we were very lucky to receive a talk from Potato Professor John Marshall. As part our Potato Growing Project, RHET volunteer John told us all about potatoes and how they grow. P1-4 are particularly keen to cook their own 'tornado' potatoes! 😆Thank you @rhetperth!

It was a pleasure to visit and great to see such enthusiasm from the children and teachers. Possibly a few future firefighters on show? Glad you enjoyed our visit. 👨🏻🚒🚒💦🔥
This term P1-4 have been exploring the IDL context 'Superheroes'. Last week we were delighted to welcome @FirePerth for a visit. We learned all about the role of a firefighter, visited the fire engine and even had a go at using the hose! Thank you for visiting us! 🔥
