Sorry to the OP, -Not a C.s. Lewis quote, and a disservice to his fans. Request a Note! xitter.cf/John_Reddick/status/21…
Replying to @FarmGirlCarrie
I believe this is a false quotation. I just re-read letter seven of "Screwtape," and this is not in it. Nor do I believe Lewis said it anywhere; he knew very well that angels commonly carry both in Christian art. The sword is an attribute of St. Michael, the lily of St. Gabriel.

This is indeed an accurate quote and a proper attribution.

Justice, Mercy, and Grace. We all deserve Justice.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a genuine quote…even if the sentiment is true.

*meanwhile the angels*

C. S. Lewis knew way too much about traditional Christian culture to say something like this.

Gotta love how this serves as a perfect quote for infjs who are so done with humans and pretty much everything going on with this world

where has he seen an angel though?

Relevant today more than ever….

You have never seen an angel! It's always crazy, insane apologists, who deceive the whole world into believing, they had access to divine superior knowledge. According to his real life qualification, he should have stacked up shelves in a store. How megalomaniacal!
