Two athletes. Almost the same 40. Completely different problems. Credit @CoachStokowski (adapted chart) 🔵 good acceleration, leaking speed at top end 🟩 elite top-end speed, leaving time on the table in the first 10 yards One of them is a 4.6 waiting to happen. The other needs mechanics and max-velocity work. “Speed” is too vague to coach. Splits tell you what to actually train. Do you program acceleration and top-end separately?
