Tyrel Bauer NHL Fight Record: 2-0
Gonna update this all year.
#NHLJets
Until Winnipeg becomes a team where the tail stops wagging the dog, this stuff will continue to be hollow promises.
#NHLJets Scott Arniel suggests bigger line changes are coming for his offensively-challenged group, but won't reveal details just yet.
"I’m going to start to work my way towards something. Guys are playing themselves up, some guys are playing themselves down."
would be cool if Winnipeg could at least try and make it look like Hellebuyck was wrong to want to leave. good lord man.
Well at least we got a very funny shorty out of it. #NHLJets
the Winnipeg Jets when shit's going sideways
#NHLJets flip Koepke and Rosén in the bottom six:
Koepke-Lowry-Vilardi
Rosén-Barron-Lambert
Buddy, this team has been an abject failure for most of the entirety of Elias' tenure, you do not get to tell the fanbase this shit when there is no track record of success you're defending. Embarrassing from Jared to start.
No other successful NHL team is this rigid about line combos like the Jets are with the top line. It's time to change the narrative. The team can't survive on one unit trying to carry 4 lines.
Asked #NHLJets coach Scott Arniel if they’ve had talks about breaking up the top line with only 6 goals in 4 games as a team:
He cracks a bit of a smile and says: “Same old question yep. Will we split them up…”
“You know what I've talked to those two, and we’re 20th right now in scoring at five on five, and we're I think ninth in five on five against. So I'm not in panic mode here, but we're in five straight (losses). We've been in nine one goal games. So yes, I do need it. I like to tinker a little bit now that Mercer is here. I haven't had him. That was one game for him. So I’d like to tinker with some other lines first before I kind of go down that road.”

Lines at #NHLJets morning skate:
Connor - Scheifele - Perfetti
Iafallo - Bjorck - Mercer
Rosen - Lowry - Vilardi
Koepke - Barron - Lambert
Niederreiter
Samberg - Pionk
Salomonsson - DeMelo
Ferraro - Bauer
Fleury
Stevenson
Skinner
Worth keeping an eye on Chibby. He's finally regaining his pre-injury offensive form. Jets could really use his spark and release in a future line-up.
The red binder is clearly for Math ➗

a culture war over Cheesecake Factory is truly a perfect encapsulation of where political discourse is at. no one gives a shit about actual policy or meaningful pragmatic problem solving for folks who are genuinely suffering, just reddit shitposting arguments on national TV.
when it's another #NHLJets gameday and they've scored 9 total goals in their last 5 games
