I’m building an accessible app using the #Claude Agent SDK to help people who are blind manage multiple coding sessions at once, without the complexity of terminals or IDEs.
It uses their own Claude Code installation and authentication.
My dream is to open-source this and help more blind people take their first steps into programming and computer science.
@AnthropicAI @ClaudeDevs, could someone help me understand how to make sure this complies with your policies?
I’d love to bring this to the community. ❤️ #a11y

It's Monday and you're adding dark mode.
No error. No warning. The bug isn't in your code.

JavaScript Maps now have getOrInsert(), so you can finally stop writing the same if in every LeetCode solution.
Except on LeetCode. It still runs Node 22 🤦

my Ghostty settings. yes the font size is 22. my eyes and I have reached an agreement 👴
font-size = 22
theme = Night Owl
# Brighter gray for autosuggestions and dim text (5.22:1 on #011627)
palette = 8=#7a8b99
# Safety net: Ghostty raises any fg/bg pair below this ratio
minimum-contrast = 3

Users click, the page freezes for two seconds, and the spinner never shows. Why?
And why don't a forced reflow, an await, or one requestAnimationFrame fix it?
The answer and a live demo of every version are in the post:

TIL: don't wrap a card in <a>.
Screen readers read the whole card as the link's name. Put the link on the title and stretch it over the card with ::after instead.

I never imagined I'd see an article from my blog cited in an academic paper. And not just any article. This is the one that sparked a war on Reddit and HN.

git blame will soon read .git-blame-ignore-revs by default. One less thing to configure per clone.

mdfor.dev's Mermaid diagrams are now ~12x faster to redraw and ship 79% less JS.
I swapped Mermaid.js for Pele (pele.run) from @kepano.
• JS for one flowchart: 732 kB → 151 kB gz
• Redraw 22 diagrams after an edit: 302 ms → 25 ms
• Light/dark is pure CSS, no redraw
22/22 diagram types still render (a few look different). PR lists everything: github.com/ikhattab/md-previ…

Customizable <select> isn’t about prettier dropdowns. It’s about what an option can say.
Quick demo for what we can achieve today and what it means for our users.

We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.
That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community.
Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward.
We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how:
· Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly.
· Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact.
· Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security.
· The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional.
Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

If no one wants to hire juniors or mid-level anymore, how are we doing to have senior engineers in the future? Or, is this an implied admission that we will not need seniors in the future?
