ICYMI: The Salt Lake City Council recently voted to use Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) without a primary for the 2023 city election.
RCV is a system where voters can use their ballot to not only vote for their preferred candidate but also indicate their backup choices.
This year's city election will include the City Mayor and Council Members in Districts 2, 4, and 6. Learn more about ranked choice voting at: tinyURL.com/RankedChoiceSLC

$195 today starts a community garden TODAY. This covers a tractor and water pump a mutual aid team in Haiti badly needs. So help us raise a couple hundred bucks at gohumanity.world/haiti, and boom. Done. You just started a food garden that saves somebody's life.

#RankedChoiceVoting (RCV) is so easy it can be explained in 1 tweet. Simply rank candidates in your order of preference; 1st favorite, 2nd favorite, etc. A candidate has to get >50% of the vote to win. If they don't there is an instant runoff (shown below) linktr.ee/voterchoiceaz

"By compelling #candidates to craft broad coalitions among competitive constituencies, #politicians have more
to lose by engaging in uncivil campaigning."
#Voters often complain that #campaigns are too negative. #RankedChoiceVoting fixes that issue!
