I mentioned this in my video last night, but Oakland did make a significant concession late after their Tuesday meeting… dropping the price to around $60M if they opt out at 3 years. Original ask was $97M. Around $20M/yr.
Right now the single most impactful thing any fan could do to keep the A’s in Oakland is to donate TODAY to Schools Over Stadiums!

We’re hearing the Roots lease is on track for approval (canceling of closed session today reflects an emerging consensus) and is likely to be scheduled for final approval in a mtg next week.

2. Hold firm on demanding a long-term MLB presence in Oakland (either the A's commit to stay OR a guaranteed MLB expansion team) in exchange for an A's '25-27 Coliseum lease extension
A's clearly need Bay Area TV $ to fund Vegas, dont give it to them w/out a replacement MLB team

As negotiations between the A’s and the city officials ramp up we need to let our elected members know how important it is to keep the A’s in Oakland. Call and email the following people to express what you expect from them. Could be the most important step yet in all of this.

We're pleased the A's & local officials are talking Coliseum lease extension.
Oakland is a major league city w/ major league fans. To re-up the lease we demand 1.) a commitment for A's to stay in Oakland, OR 2.) a guaranteed expansion team.
