Most Bedford Borough pupils go #BackToSchool today & those struggling may need some extra support. A working group with @BedfordTweets has coproduced information for children & young people to access support for their mental wellbeing #MentalHealthMatters localoffer.bedford.gov.uk/kb…

As founding partner of @BedfordGiving along with @bpha @panaceatrust @FoundersClerk we urge any young people, parents or organisations working with young people to fill in the survey or share to help make Bedford Borough a better place for young people! #TogetherForBedford

Eek eek cute mouse alert! We introduced @LearnWithMouse to the children at @BedfordTweets's nurseries before they broke up for the holidays, to support the transition from nursery to primary school, to encourage development such as eating independently and toilet training.

Good luck to everyone receiving their A'Level results tomorrow from our university bursary applicants, to students at our Harpur Trust schools and all the secondary/upper schools and colleges in the borough! #TogetherForBedford #ALevelResults #ALevels #GoodLuck #UniBursary

Students from @Bedford_Academy & @BedfordSchool are benefitting from a partnership between The Harpur Trust & @FoundersClerk to enhance their engineering & coding skills through robotics by providing robotic kits to share between the schools. harpurtrust.org.uk/article/1… #STEM

Here is the fantastic @heartacadtrust 's (which we sponsor) choir made up of pupils from @CauldwellBed , @HeadShackleton1 & @shortstown_ps ready to sing their hearts out for @BedsFestival. They put on an amazing performance, we're all very proud of you! bedfordshirefestival.org.uk

Well done to @Bedford_Academy which is one of the @heartacadtrust schools we sponsor. We want to build on this work with our grant to provide students with counselling through @BedfordOpenDoor who are experiencing emotional based school avoidance to help increase attendance.

Students from secondary schools across the borough are invited to attend @OldBedfordians FREE online careers event. From creative arts to architecture and medicine - find out about the possibilities open to you! #TogetherforBedford bedfordschool.org.uk/event/o…

Great to welcome David Payne as BMS's new Head!

Happy New Year everyone! It's been a busy year for us as we committed £3.7m in supporting the community of Bedford through bursaries to our schools and community grants. We've also been working hard to build partnerships with local schools to help to close the education gap.

Congratulations to all the amazing nominees! We are delighted to sponsor the Unsung Hero category at this year's awards, to recognise the administrators, volunteers and fundraisers who put so much into the development of sport in Bedford. We look forward to the event tonight!
