Ms. Kajal Singh, IPS, DCP Traffic-III, Hyderabad, inspected the ongoing construction works at Mehdipatnam Bus Complex and reviewed the progress with @HMDA_Gov officials.
During the inspection, discussions were held on traffic regulation, safe movement of commuters, minimising congestion around the construction zone, and ensuring smooth vehicular flow while the works are in progress.
Necessary measures were also discussed for better coordination and reducing inconvenience to road users.

రైల్వే ట్రాక్ పక్కన బాహ్య ప్రపంచపు స్పృహే లేకుండా ఫోన్ మాట్లాడుతూ నడుస్తున్న ఓ వ్యక్తిని వెనుక నుంచి వేగంగా దూసుకొచ్చిన రైలు క్షణాల వ్యవధిలో ఢీకొట్టిన ఈ హృదయ విదారక దృశ్యం ఎవరి గుండెలనైనా బరువెక్కించక మానదు. హైదరాబాద్ బొల్లారం సమీపంలో ఇటీవల జరిగిందీ ప్రమాదం.
క్షణకాలం ఏమరుపాటు, మితిమీరిన అజాగ్రత్త బతికుండగానే నిండు జీవితాన్ని ఎలా ముగింపునకు తెస్తుందో చెప్పడానికి ఇంతకంటే నిదర్శనం మరొకటి ఉండదు.
చెవుల్లో దూరిన ఆ పరికరాలు చుట్టూ ఉన్న ప్రపంచంతో ఉన్న సంబంధాన్ని పూర్తిగా తెంచేసి, సమీపిస్తున్న ప్రమాద ఘంటికలను సైతం వినిపించకుండా చేస్తున్నాయి.
భీకరమైన శబ్దంతో రైలు దూసుకొస్తున్నా, హారన్ మోగుతున్నా గ్రహించలేనంతగా పరధ్యానంలో మునిగిపోవడం తీవ్ర విషాదాలకు దారితీస్తోంది.
ఇది కేవలం రైల్వే ట్రాక్‌ల వద్దే కాదు, రోడ్లపై వాహనాలు నడుపుతున్నప్పుడు కూడా నిత్యం ప్రాణాల మీదకు తెస్తున్న భయానక వాస్తవం.
బైక్‌లు, కార్లు డ్రైవ్ చేస్తూ ఇయర్‌ఫోన్లలో మాట్లాడటం లేదా సంగీతం వినడం వల్ల పరిసరాల స్పృహ కోల్పోయి, వెనుక వచ్చే వాహనాల హారన్లు గానీ, అత్యవసర అంబులెన్స్ సైరన్లు గానీ వినబడక తమ ప్రాణాలకే కాకుండా తోటి వాహనదారుల ప్రాణాలకూ ముప్పు తెచ్చిపెడుతున్నారు.
నిజానికి ఈ సృష్టిలో ప్రాణానికి మించిన అత్యవసరమైన ఫోన్ కాల్ ఏదీ ఉండదు, అలాగే జీవితాన్ని మించిన వినోదమూ మరొకటి లేదు.
మీరు మాట్లాడుతున్న ఫోన్ కాల్‌ను కాసేపు ఆపవచ్చు, వింటున్న పాటను తర్వాతైనా వినవచ్చు, కానీ ఆ క్షణిక నిర్లక్ష్యానికి ఒక్కసారి ప్రాణం గాల్లో కలిసిపోతే ఏ శక్తీ తిరిగి తీసుకురాలేదు. ఆ తర్వాత మీ కుటుంబానికి మిగిలేది జీవితాంతం తీరని శోకం, అంతులేని వేదన మాత్రమే.
ముఖ్యంగా యువత ఈ భ్రమల నుంచి తక్షణమే బయటకు రావాలి. రోడ్లపై నడుస్తున్నప్పుడు అయినా, వాహనాలు నడుపుతున్నప్పుడు అయినా, రైల్వే ట్రాక్‌ల సమీపంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు అయినా ఇయర్‌ఫోన్లు వాడే ప్రాణాంతక అలవాటును తక్షణమే మానుకోవాలి.
రోడ్లు, రైల్వే ట్రాక్‌లు అనేవి నిరంతరం అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాల్సిన ప్రదేశాలు తప్ప అలసత్వానికి తావిచ్చే వేదికలు కావు.
కాస్త ఆలోచించండి, బాధ్యతగా మెలగండి, నిండు ప్రాణాలను నిర్లక్ష్యానికి బలివ్వకండి, మీ రాక కోసం వెయ్యి కళ్లతో ఎదురుచూస్తున్న మీ కుటుంబాన్ని గుర్తుంచుకోండి.
