@EquityEdge, these emails raise serious concerns about your transparency and fairness. First, you denied his $5K performance fee for "Impulsive Decision Making." Then the explanation changed to gambling and excessive speculative risk-taking because he held a US100 position during a Fed speech. Holding a trade through a news event is NOT the same as opening a trade to gamble on the news. If the trader entered during the London session and simply held his position, where exactly is the violation? You cannot keep changing the justification to avoid paying a trader's legitimate earnings. Instead of making excuses or allegedly pressuring him to remove his Trustpilot review, PAY HIS $5K. Traders deserve clear rules, consistent decisions and fair treatment. This situation seriously damages your credibility. #PropFirm #PropTrading #ScamAlert @PropFirmsScams @Propfirm @PropFirmMedia @PropFirmsGuru @fundingpips
Equity Edge denied my $5k performance fee with changing reasons. After I posted a Trustpilot review, one of their staff repeatedly contacted me offering to restore my 50k account + a free 25k Instant account if I removed the review. I have the call recording of this

They also claimed I had received multiple prior warnings, but later clarified that the only notice was the general boilerplate text in previous denial emails.

The pattern is clear: Deny larger payouts → pressure traders to delete negative reviews with free accounts and promises → deny again. I have all the emails and the call recording.

Scam alert ⚠️ @EquityEdgeUK scam exposed⬇️ "EquityEdgeUK just denied the trader a $5,000 performance fee after 3 years of trading and three prior payouts". The trader ran a $50k Instant account, previously received $200, $300, and $1,000 without issue, then requested the larger $5k after a clean profitable period. One US100 trade of 4.81 lots generated +$1,100 while held through a Fed speech. EquityEdge first claimed news trading. When the trader pointed to the firm own published rules that allow holding through news, they suddenly switched to lot size / risk profile. After more back-and-forth they landed on a vague combination = prohibited gambling excuse. The firm moved the goalposts the moment a bigger payout appeared. They paid the same trader three times before. Now they hide behind subjective risk language instead of citing a single written rule the trade actually broke. The trader followed the published rules for years. EquityEdge still refuses to process the $5k or point to the exact clause that was violated. This is how some prop firms operate when the numbers get real. Demand the exact published rule or pay the trader what was earned. Stop inventing reasons after the fact. 💰📉⚖️ @TheTrustedProp @PropFirmMatch @berkayglife

@EquityEdgeUK I’m done being polite. After 3 years trading with you and receiving 3 previous payouts ($200, $300 and $1k), you denied my $5k performance fee on a 50k Instant.

So which is it? You moved the goalposts the moment I quoted your own rules back at you. I’ve followed the written rules for 3 years. You paid me three times before. The second a bigger payout comes you invent a subjective “risk profile” reason.@

You traded the news/ red folder and made profit so we rejected the payout.” I kept explaining that holding through news is allowed. After days of messaging the formal emails said holding news alone is fine and lot size alone is fine… but the “combination” is prohibited gambling.

This is the trade and the emails. [attach all the screenshots here – trade history + the 3 emails]

One US100 trade of 4.81 lots that made +$1,100 while held through a Fed speech. You first told me it was because of news trading. When I showed you your own rules allow it, you switched to “lot size / overall risk profile.”
