2026 SHOWREEL 🎬 Films. Series. Ads. Trailers. Music videos. VFX. Experiments. I’m Alexandra Dekimpe — motion designer, filmmaker and educator exploring how far generative filmmaking can go when we treat AI as a production tool, not the creative director. Storytelling, directing, character work, motion design, compositing, virtual production, product films and a little controlled chaos. This reel also contains a few sequences created specifically to explore workflows I wanted to add to my portfolio: virtual production, green-screen VFX, creature integration, bullet-time action and 3D character advertising. More breakdowns and BTS coming soon. 👀 Direct AI. Don’t just use it. 🎬 HADES DESIGN ⚡ WIRED TO INSPIRE Open to creative collaborations, film projects & brand work. #AIFilm #AIFilmmaking #GenerativeAI #MotionDesign #VFX #Filmmaking #AICinema #Showreel

🎃 BREAKING: We just unearthed the lost 2002 pilot of Vampire Slayers from a dusty hard drive. (Okay, we generated it last week in @lovart_ai . But let us have this.) Pure fan service. Pure nostalgia. Fully built inside Lovart through my monthly CPP partnership. Thank for your help Arti (my agent). Sometimes you just need to resurrect a show that never existed. #AIvideo #VampireSlayers #LostPilot #Lovart #Halloween #GenerativeVideo #CPP #2000sTV

It's Sunday. We live at winter hour till now. Wind is blowing, skies are grey. Let's dance a little to warm the atmosphere. 🥶 @itsPolloAI #pollorecastchallenge #pollorecast

I had the opportunity to try @Pixmax_ai’s canvas for movie production, and it’s truly a fantastic tool. I really appreciate having everything I need in one place. It’s cleverly designed around an efficient node-based workspace. If only I had discovered the 'Parse Storyboard' feature sooner! 😅

Some experiments for action scenes in @dreamina_ai Seedance 2.5 Draft.

It took around 10 iterations to get this sequence close to what I had in mind with Seedance 2.5 Draft on @dreamina_ai 😅 The hardest part wasn’t the look — it was the physics and timing. The sequence had to respect a very precise chain of events: Tomas holds a heavy steel panel with his RIGHT robotic arm → the subscription suddenly expires → the arm instantly loses all power → the fingers release → the whole arm drops limp → the panel falls → the safety cable catches it for a split second → the platform anchor fails → the cable whips toward Ivo → Tomas pulls him to safety with his LEFT biological arm. What helped most: • separating references by function: character refs / environment / steel panel / hardware / blocking • using simple 3D previs images only for camera placement and action geometry • repeating critical left/right arm rules • describing the failure as a binary mechanical event: 100% power → 0% in 1–2 frames • breaking the acting into micro-beats instead of asking for generic “fear” or “surprise” • explicitly locking cause-and-effect and forbidding slow dramatic pauses Even after all that, Seedance kept trying to make the mechanical failure more graceful than it should be 😅 Still, iteration after iteration, it got much closer. A little time remapping and we'll be good to go. This is exactly the kind of test I love doing with @Dreamina — not just asking a model for a cool shot, but pushing it to understand blocking, performance, continuity and physical logic.

GLOBAL CONTINUITY: Preserve the exact approved baby-kitten identities, round compact bodies, very short limbs, costumes and instruments. Maintain the same physically believable coastal abbey, materials and lighting continuity. Real feline paws, stable instrument geometry and readable playing contact.CAST BY SECTION: 00:00–00:15: Cat only. 00:15–00:23: Guinness, Oly, Dina and Mia only. 00:23–00:30: Goliath only. Never add background kittens, duplicate characters or transfer features between performers.00:00–00:05 — RHYTHMIC VIOLIN OPENING Start directly on the close-up in F01. Vilon cat plays brisk, clearly separated short bow strokes with precise direction changes. The left paw makes small quick position adjustments. Lively natural-speed performance from the first instant. Keep the bow in believable contact with the strings. Subtle camera slide only.00:05–00:10 — VIOLIN ACCELERATION Hard cut to F02. His short alternating bow strokes grow progressively quicker and more flowing. Compact forearm movement, subtle rhythmic body shifts, feet firmly planted. Slowly push the camera closer while keeping the full performance readable. The acceleration comes from his playing, not sped-up footage.00:10–00:15 — LONG VIOLIN NOTES Hard cut to F03. The rapid phrase resolves into long sustained notes. Short bow strokes become broad, smooth movements with gentle direction changes. His body settles and eyes close softly. Hold the emotional concentration with a restrained camera approach.00:15–00:15.8 — SHORT TAMBOURINE FLOURISH Hard cut to F04. Oly delivers one very brief cluster of rapid, evenly spaced taps on the tambourine. Crisp paw contact and immediate rebound, with the metal jingles trembling. End this insert after 0.8 seconds. Do not repeat or prolong it.00:15.8–00:17.5 — CHOIR DETAIL Hard cut to F05. Dina and Mia breathe gently and sustain a soft rounded wordless vowel. Tiny movements of whiskers, cheek fur and pendants. A delicate lateral camera slide maintains the intimate framing. No additional faces enter.00:17.5–00:23 — GUINNESS CONDUCTS Hard cut to the exact four-character composition in F06. Guinness conducts Oly, Dina and Mia through the wordless phrase “ooh ohh ohh ohh ooh”, using small rounded paw gestures. The three singers show restrained breathing, tiny relaxed mouth openings and subtle shared swaying. No syllable-by-syllable mouth animation. Oly holds the tambourine still. Maintain exactly FOUR kittens total in one fixed arrangement. Use only a slight camera push IN. No pullback, background reveal, new rows, extra singers or reflections.00:23–00:25.3 — GUITAR / HELD OPENING NOTES Hard cut to F07. Goliath picks a long note, lets it ring and applies controlled vibrato with small rocking movements of his fretting paw. Slide the camera briefly along the neck. Keep the contact points readable.00:25.3–00:27.2 — GUITAR / FAST ASCENDING RUN Hard cut to F08, revealing Goliath’s concentrated expression. Then make two short hard-cut inserts derived from the same character and instrument: right paw rapidly picking the strings; left paw moving through successive fretboard positions toward the guitar body. Coordinated, compact movements suggesting a fast ascending scale. No random strumming or human fingers.00:27.2–00:29.6 — GUITAR / DYNAMIC WIDE SHOT Hard cut to F09. Continue the energetic phrase as the camera makes a fast, smooth partial orbit around Goliath, approximately 90 degrees, with strong foreground parallax from the pillar. Keep him and the guitar readable, feet planted and strap supporting the instrument. No full spin or unstable camera shake.00:29.6–00:30 — GUITAR / SUSTAINED RESOLUTION Hard cut to F10. The fast run resolves into a long ringing note with clear controlled vibrato. Goliath’s head begins to lift as his body settles. End DURING the sustained performance, allowing the following clip to continue it. No fade-out or concluding pose.EDITING AND SOUND: Natural-speed performance throughout. Purposeful hard cuts, no crossfades, morphing transitions, split screens or slow motion. No text or subtitles. The original song is the master soundtrack and will be used in editing. Do not compose replacement music or invent additional vocal phrases.

How far would you go to save someone you love? And what if saving their life meant losing your own soul? THE FLESH REMAINS — my new 8-minute supernatural horror short film. Directing multiple characters in AI film is hard. Here are the 5 levels to mastering it, from a simple dialogue to an 8-camera action sequence.
