I really don’t like coming online to post my private life but I guess this is necessary.
I was assaulted and harassed by police officers at Somolu today.
They claimed that the vehicle that I have been driving for 5 years is stolen because a sticker that carries the plate number of the previous car owner was found on the top left corner of the windscreen of my vehicle
After giving them all my up-to-date car documents, including my proof of Ownership documents, they insist my car was a stolen vehicle. How is that possible when I have been renewing my papers and going for car inspections every year for the last 5 years ? Thier claim was just outrageous and wasn’t making any sense to me
One of them even went away with my car documents and I do not know where he went to and if he had gone to tamper with them. When I asked where my car papers were, one of them punched me in the chest 3 times. I have it on camera
I noticed a pattern of oppression and because I didn’t allow myself to be taken advantage of, they ended up rough handling me, holding me on my trousers like a common criminal and finally towing my car and confiscating in the street in front of their their station at Alade Police station, Balogun street Somolu. The environment do not seem safe and my car is a at risk of vandalism and worse getting stolen if it remains there overnight
Their intimidation was for me to be extorted and since I didn’t give them the chance to they decided to lay their hands on me and impound my car. One even called me a criminal in my face and threatened to shoot at me.
Please I need this post to reach the right authorities. I have called the police hotline designated to handle cases like this and for over 2 hours they kept telling me they will give me a call back. So at this point I am In the dark.

Went out yesterday morning, returned home really late “almost 1am”
Baby and partner had slept off, although man tried to stay awake
Today, I was to go out again, immediately our small madam opened her eyes, she glued herself to me
She didn’t want me to disappear again
I decided to take her out with me this time so this man can rest and probably work..
It worked, we returned home towards evening and man slept all through our absence
The way I am so glad that he finally rested ehn, only that this rest will be temporary cause for the next few days, I’d be absent😔😮💨
One of the things I enjoy in my solitude is
Talking to myself, making up scenarios and acting it out in my head, if I am alone, I voice out each scene, commentary
Most times I lay in bed, I spend extra hours just doing the above
If I am not alone, I tend to close my eyes and act out every scene possible till I am exhausted

Hi Everyone, please I need your help.
I’ve battled Keloid since I was 2 as a result of the first ear piercing which was done at birth and was done wrongly.
My parents have gone through several options given to them and it keeps reoccurring.
I’ve done several surgical removal that I can’t even keep count both in general hospitals and private hospitals and they always finish up with kenalog as usual, I did cryotherapy for 2years with a popular Bumps clinic and the pain from the procedure almost paralyzed the left part of my body as it became weaker and I couldn’t use it, still it resurfaced.
Since 2015 I’ve been in and out of the hospital over this keloid, one general hospital suggested removing the whole ear which might cause another issue as it could still grow again.
I’ve been going through excruciating pains, every single day of my life I’m in pains, I’ve been popping painkillers like who’s taking candy, I barely sleep at night
Most days I’m awake till morning, once it’s night I get scared cos the pains becomes unbearable.
Sometimes I take sleeping pills just to get through the night.
I can’t go out, I can’t even show up for my business, my parents and siblings have had to give up their finances every single year because of me. Last year November, my sister single-handedly took care of the bills for the procedure I did.
At some point the Keloid started to accumulate abscess, it becomes so much that I’ve had to go through drainage process, I did one last year as well.
And all of these have made the keloid very aggressive and it grows faster by the day, the last removal procedure I did was in April of last year, the growth you’re seeing in frame 1 is just 1year and 7months growth which is unusually fast.
Since I finished my service year I’ve been at home because I couldn’t work with this condition, I even had to let go of a few job opportunities I was recommended for with the hope of getting this done before I fully commit.
A doctor I met recommended LASUTH earlier this year and since May I’ve been trying to get booked for surgery, initially I was booked for surgery but I wasn’t told everything it entailed, my first surgery date was September 11th and it was moved later on due to the strike.
I was opportuned to secure a consultation again with the Burns and Plastic unit (BPSU) yesterday in LASUTH and the consultant put me through everything I needed for the keloid to not reoccur.
He said I needed at least 2 Radiotherapy sessions of which one has to be done exactly 24hrs after the surgical removal and then another few weeks after.
After which I have to undergo chemotherapy and then post op care which includes injections, drugs,silicone creams, and any other recommended care.
The Radiotherapy is to be done in LUTH (I was given a reference letter for it) after making enquiries in LUTH, the estimate of one radiotherapy session was given at 2.5m, and I’ll be needing 2sessions which sums up to 5m. Then the surgery for the removal of the Keloid costs 1.2m and I’ve been able to come up with that. Then after the surgery I’m to undergo chemotherapy and post op care but I have not been told how much that would cost, so I am unsure of the entire cost of that but the estimation according to what I’ve researched is about 2m.
LASUTH have given me November 19th for my next and last consultation before the removal and this simply means I have to come up with the money for everything before then.
So in total what will be needed for the successful surgery and post op care is 8.2m of which I’ve already raised 1.2m and I’m left to source for 7m before the 19th of November.
This was really really hard for me to do as I have never done this before but this is my last resort as I have exhausted all my options and I have spent more than 6months alone trying to get booked with LASUTH.
Please help me get my life back together 🙏

First of all, I did not move to the United States in 2023. Secondly, I had known my wife for many years before we got married. I did not marry her for immigration papers, so please don’t project your own circumstances onto me.
The only reason I relocated from Europe to America was because my wife preferred the climate here. She found European winters too cold, with daylight disappearing far too early. I just realized what a typical day looks like for this man and I
Woke up quite late today around 11am, man was already up cause he woke up to feed our child and resumed work..
Then moment I woke up, man said “let’s clean the house”
I swept and arranged the house whilst he was arranging our third room…
Our baby woke up..
While he was mopping, I held her…
We then proceeded to force feed her
Whilst I was making meals, he was bathing her..
Finished eating, he cleaned up…
Everyone minded their business whilst taking turns to hold our small madam
Evening, I went to the gym, he was with our baby
Night food, everyone sorted themselves, I bathed our small madam cause partner bathed her in the morning
Now I am watching movie
He’s with our child, playing game
Till we are ready to sleep
The funny thing is, we don’t expressly give each other chores, we just see what needs to be done and do it, as one person is doing one thing, the other has taken up another thing
This way, our work moves easier, and faster
There’s no load in a single person
When people come and start trying to dictate in terms of “Gender role” I just snap with “we don’t do that here”

Prior, I hated reversing, I just knew how to drive straight😭😭😭
My dad made me learn the hard way..
In my dads place, a total of 4 cars was in in the compound
A bus, 2 Saloon cars and 1 hilux
The hilux was the last car parked (manual)
Our utility vehicle was parked right beside the hilux
Each time I’d want to go out, my dad will help me bring out my car, this went on for weeks until he said No, you’d have to do it yourself
First day of trial, he stood and directed me as best as I could, it was so tight, and difficult, I started crying, I did not go out again
Second time we continued, and he made sure I used both side mirrors and rear without having to look back
I was so frustrated
The hilux was literally so close to the gate, my dad refused to move it, so I’d have to try to remove the car without having to scratch both cars as well as the gate
I’d literally be so close to each cars, it was hard
I stopped trying, if I want to go out and the hilux is parked, I’d rather enter bus
My dad didn’t even flinch, he said
“When you are ready, I’d be here”
Finally, I became open to learning, tried for a few more days till i finally got it, then continued trying with no supervision
The happiest day of my life
Currently, I don’t even have to look back, my mirrors serves me well, and I do love reversing
